If it was me, the ONLY question I'd be asking is who the best divorce lawyer is. Then again, if his wife was doing something wrong, why would another man answer the phone? It doesn't make sense. Apparently, she's on the 'call answer' list, so wouldn't she expect him to call anyway? That being said. Is she allowed to have help herself with giving an answer according to the possible rules of the show? If not, did she 'mess up' by accidentally allowing the other person to answer the phone, therefore, possibly having to be disqualified? For one thing, the phone-a-friend people have a producer with them when they're awaiting a call (Jeremy confirms that the producer is with them every time). Okay, that's interesting to hear. I did not know the show makes sure the person who is your lifeline can absolutely answer the phone. I've actually seen an episode of the US version of "Millionaire" and the person on the other end didn't pick up. Regis Philbin (the host) was visibly embarrassed. I think this is speculation on my part, but it may have led to the show sending someone to the helper's house/flat to make sure they can actually pick up the phone!

Poor form on Clarkson's part. He must surely have heard that that was a recorded voice AND he knows that someone IS there. @@Roxjetlagged TBH I'm not absolutely sure how it works. We don't have the show here in New Zealand - we just watch the English version. I assume there is a limited pool of contestants who get to the filming stage on any given day, probably only about 10 or so. From what l've heard its a pretty drawn out process between entering and being selected. Ample time for the producers to arrange to have a chaperone at the phone a friend's house. Hopefully someone who DOES know will be along to answer.

"Tricky question" You don't even know how to speak basic German to answer this. Every child who's ever sung a Christmas carol knows "Donner and Blitzen" means "Thunder and Lightening". And most people could work it out from "Blitzkrieg" (Lightening War). You could guess "Mittwoch" in this case means "Midweek", so it's not going to be the Weekend. Dientag sounds like "Tuesday". And even if you had no idea about all of that, look. At. The Screen. "Sonntag". "Sonntag"!!!!!!!!
