This guy is a legend. I have used the association technic for a long time but for some reason, I would like to use the other technics he uses. I had a hard time recalling his name, and thank God KZbin saved me a long time searching for him. Gotta re-read his book.

Alhamdulillah pernah habiskan buku karya beliau (Dominic) ternyata kuncinya mereka memainkan imajinasi.

Damn with memory aid its so easy to memorise 50 items.. I did along with him but kept the video speed at 0.5.. But its fairly easy.
@unknownfrontier477110 жыл бұрын
This is actually not hard, but this guy can do it with good speed, anyone can learn this, but speed takes time.
@Layla-jc2ok8 жыл бұрын
+randell denning Um, no actually... Speed can come naturally if you are actually using the techniques that he mentioned. It's almost like reciting the actions taking place in a live event; a commentator.
@uwotm86347 жыл бұрын
Mr Messy it's all about patience and consistency and you may be as good as him one day, I've read in his book that he was quiet bad at school and had a mediocre memory but improved it over time
@jeffw12677 жыл бұрын
Mr Messy You don't ever have to be as good as Dominic in order for memory techniques to help you. But you already know that.
@michelerich15909 жыл бұрын
I know it wouldn't make for as fun of a video for the audience…but am I the only one who noticed that they didn't actually need the objects to be there? I mean, all he's really doing is just memorizing a list of 50 nouns.
@IsItModern8 жыл бұрын
Jennifer Turner this comment is a year old, but you are right. Having the actual objects there was most certainly for the audience and tv viewers, as well as the unnecessarily slow pace of rolling them out. -Which was just to pad out the act's running time. It's very apparent he'd have recited the objects back quicker if they had just read to him from a list at a faster pace. He was clearly frustrated having to say "next" due to them dragging it out. Not a very impressive demonstration from a difficulty standpoint, but I guess they wanted something more entertaining than simply reciting digits of pi.

well, if you want a challenge try what the late George Koltanowski did: Dec 4 1960, San Francisco, CA. He played Chess against 56 consecutive opponents, -"Blindfolded" with only ten seconds per move. He won 50 and drew six. He was rigorously monitored and holds the Worlds Record for blindfold chess.
