I work as an academic advisor at a community college. In two years, with help of my colleagues, we were able to bridge a gap with the surrounding halfway houses in our city to enroll students into college, obtain their GED, and utilize the school for transfer purposes. I work with students like Jesse everyday. I can attest to his statement. It changes each and every person's life that comes through the doors. The fresh perspective of a mature cohort of students that are ready to learn, disciplined, and navigating the classes better than the young students. The biggest gap I see is the lack of integration of technology in inner prison services. A lot of my students that have been down for 10-20+ years find the technology advances very challenging. Despite it, they move to their full ability to reach their goals. I am so proud of my students and I am so proud to hear this message from Jesse. Jesse, I pray to see you get home brother.

I think, when you have life sentences. The website only puts up one life sentence at at time. Once one sentence is over, his other sentence will be posted. I have a cousin in the same position. His date shows a release date, but that’s not the actual release date. It’s the release date for his first sentence. Once that’s over, he’ll start his second one.

Idk what he did but if he murdered he does not deserve a second chance. My brother was murdered 20 years ago. It affected my whole life shattered my childhood. It has changed my life forever. Murder’s don’t only kill a person they give life sentences to loved ones left behind by the victims.
@themechanicman3865Ай бұрын
It says in the Bible you have to forgive and not saying that the person won't be judged down here on Earth but who are you to tell for this man to stand here the rest of his life if he did murder it says in the Bible biblically that a sin is a sin lost stealing anything that is against the commandments of God Jesus our lord and savior it says in the Bible how can God let you in the Gates of heaven when you cannot forgive your brother so therefore a person that wants to see another person die or stay in a humiliation of a situation God says that biblically judgment is for him not for us but we have people on this Earth to judge us because that's the way it was made but in the old old days there was no judgment like today and another thing I would like to say is that look at what they did to Jesus they put them on the cross Stone him to death after he committed miracles what do you think that them people deserved play God says it would be eternal hell but since he was the son of God God allowed that to happen so we wouldn't spend eternity in hell according to the scripture according to the holy BibleI lost my first born child and my stepmother was murdered in the Late 80s and never found the killer you have to accept things and leave it in God's hands what would you do if your family or your friend or your brother died and it was an accident from somebody else would you think that that would deserve prison the rest of their life but the point that I'm making is that how can God give you a second chance for redemption and not being the Gates of hell for eternity torment when you can't forgive somebody on Earth! 🙏 Sounds to me you got some learning to do my friend some studying and some redemption

Don't feel bad at all. Everyone knows what comes with bad choices. Harsh consequences so I hope he serve whatever was granted to him. Sorry not sorry. No one is perfect in anyways but I know one thing for certain you have a choice

He LUCKILY didn’t take someone’s life. Why wait around for him to do so(back then)? You know how many convicts get released and immediately commit an atrocious crime and then EVERYBODY is screaming why did you let him out?! Etc. He INTENDED on killing someone/ multiple people, premeditated. Maybe he’s changed now. But back when he was arrested for his crime, you’d have to assume he just got lucky this time, let’s go ahead and put him away before he’s successful next time on someone innocent. P.S. I’m not saying I agree or disagree, just giving you the point of view from the other side
