Why would they report that they are trying to recover a weapon when they could easily lift the dead man's shirt and pick up the gun.... Unless there was no gun. Cops would ever shoot an unarmed citizen, right? How can the police dept claim the victim pointed a gun at an officer while also stating that the officer reported not seeing a gun but assuming it was hidden under his shirt and oh yeah, now we can't find the gun?
