My wife gave birth to my first child 11 months ago. I'm hardcore gamer that used to play World of Warcraft up to 6 hours a day (or more) played on my ps3 as often as I could and couldn't wait to get my ps4. Soon as my son came around I canceled my WoW account, and barely touch my ps4. I still love my games but there's no way I could game and look after him at the same time. As a parent you're primary duty is to protect and look after that child as you bring him up right. Video games are a great escape but anything more than that is just wrong. And this guy should be killed. He murdered a baby.

Parenthood is a life changer. So many people have irresponsible sex, and so many women just keep the baby when they get pregnant by accident. I hate that. Don't have a baby unless you are as prepared as possible. Use protection. Have an abortion if you must. I don't care if people don't like me saying that. Have an abortion, it's better than having a child and neglecting them. Don't get thrown into parenthood by circumstance. Choose if and when. And don't worry about feeling left out because others do it. Most of us just aren't ready, and would be perfectly happy without children. My mom did this She had me when she was 18.... I'm 20 and I know I couldn't handle a kid now I can barely take care of myself right now I try to explain to my mom that if she wasn't ready to have kids, she had 3, then she shouldn't have done it. I've told her It would have been sad to have been aborted but it would have been the right move for everyone and that I rather that happened. I really don't know if my mom should have ever made the decision to have kids, though. Some people don't get that they will never be ready for that. My life was pretty hard.... I really hate how when people say that I am a nice, responsible or hard working young man, they attribute to my parents for "doing such a good job" raising me. I had to learn absolutely everything on my own. I wish more people understood the commitment having a child is and realize what it actually means to have to completely care for another life.

This incident happened in my city. One thing that "atleast our local news mentioned" is that he was originally from California and ran here. He was already having issues with child protective services. So, these kids weren't getting beat and this child didn't die simply because of video games. This all happened because the father was abusive...

I hate when things like this happen for a couple reasons. First, and by far foremost, is that these little children who should be protected and treated like the precious little gifts they are, end up with a parent or parents that they didn't ask for, don't deserve, and don't deserve them and they get hurt for things that are not their fault..some, like this one, even lose their lives to these selfish pricks that I just want to strangle until they feel a fraction of the fear their child felt. Children should be able to trust their parents, love them, feel safe with them..this is horrible and demented. I absolutely can not stand when people call people who have committed a murder(s), things such as "evil" or a "monster". Excluding girls who have been raped of course & other special cases, teenage parents treat their kids so awful. They are almost a menace to society. No Rich. Keep tagging PSAs in videos like this. It gives them purpose by spreading a positive message. This is something I think about all the time. I'm never having kids ever and not getting into any relationship any time soon. When high school students get into these relationships and have all this sex, that's how people start out poor and struggling financially with a girlfriend/wife and kids to support. Then maybe 15 years later you're living an average middle class life for the rest of your life and your kids maybe do better. If I start life out just by myself, living will still have many costs, but be much more inexpensive and I only have to worry about myself (in a sense that I can't handle big responsibility at this point not selfishness). I find it so funny when pretty, sexy girls at my school say they're not having kids yet are in relationships all the time and can have sex at literally any time they want. I just think "Pssshhh. You'll be pregnant by the time you're either leaving high school or in college."
