@@JustShotsForMeh you might have a point here. Seems they have ran out of ideas some how but it’s wild to me with so many different concepts in the world.
@JustShotsForMeh3 жыл бұрын
@@FireAngelChris Give a test to yourself, think of a completely fresh concept in the industry as if you're presenting it to a writer, google said concept and you'll realize it's all taken, everything is done and dusted, from war, to romance, to comedy, to good ending and bad ending, bad guy and good guy, crime films, EVERYTHING is cleaned out, it's much harder than it looks. The only thing that could potentially start a new concept is fantasy, which we are kind of in the limit of, too, knowledgeable enough to know what doesn't exist in the universe, but ignorant enough to still use gasoline powered engines for 100 years. Interstellar will look like what Star Wars looks today in 20 years, wings in space, aliens that CLEARLY need to be humanoid, robots that need to have a specific understandable shape, flamingo tanks, the immersion will be pulled out quicker than people realize. One movie that blasted my mind in this regard is Arrival, Arrival is one of the most interesting and realistic fantasy concepts I have ever seen, and in my opinion should be a hallmark of how to steer the fantasy genre in the right direction, until I am proven otherwise by science of course.

@@JustShotsForMeh You definitely have a valid point about everything have been done but gosh it seems they do these same concepts the exact same way but worse. It was the creative intention to make the movie like this so I guess a budget didn’t need to be big. I think it was inspired by an idea Hitchcock had in the 60s. The entire movie is in real time so the entire time you’re watching is when everything in the movie is happening at the same time
