This is without a doubt one of the most fascinating channel in all of youtube. You take us to a side of the country that many americans are completely unaware or afraid of and you show us that side as it is. Your videos are a great insight to the struggles of the forgotten communities in our nation I hope it leads more people to symphatize to take more action to improve these communities. Thank you charlie

"struggles of the forgotten communities in our nation I hope it leads more people to symphatize to take more action to improve these communities" Except the peopIe who make up these most viIe, vioIent areas (ALL of the areas with the most vioIent crimes in the U.S. are by far b areas) don't care at aII about changing or improving, because "it's aII the w pepo fauIt" and "the system keeping them down" and "they aintdunuffin, u no wutm sayin?" ... And most Americans are COMPLETELY aware of these areas, it's just you can't speak the truth about them because if you do and if you're a prominent voice then you WlLL be attacked and called names. The ONLY way these areas will change is with a few dozen buIIdozers. There is no "savlng them", it's a Iost cause aII the way around.

The guys I was werent gang members but they said he was a gang leader in that area he has to approve anybody doing a street interview in that area. When they explained they were doing an interview just about them he told them let him know first next time and walked off.

Exactly. Can you imagine how they could fix those streets up with even just $50 million dollars let alone $1 Billion? I’m not saying things would change over night but living in an environment like that is demoralizing on so many levels. They could clean it up and do all kinds of things to help that community if they really cared. But we know it’s all about the Military industrial complex and the big corporations that profit from it. That’s why our money will always go there and never come back here.

If you live in a hopeless dangerous place like Camden with no job opportunitie it’s not uncommon to numb yourself. And the government should absolutely do something about it. The liquor store owners open them very strategically and 100% live in a much better area. Most of the customers are Black people and the owners are usually a different race. How much for the war in Ukraine? Maybe the US should think about its own people first and fix up cities and hire more police. How hard can it be…

@@jollymollyramram9702 While I don't agree with spending our money in Ukraine, the amount spent in Ukraine is TINY compared to the amounts of money shoveled into propping up black communities. You could spend every single dime of the Defense budget and nothing would change until there is a cultural change within themselves. They are a completely failed and corrupted culture and there is no signs of that changing any time within our lifetimes.
@jollymollyramram9702
@jollymollyramram9702 6 ай бұрын
@Danlovestrivium. I live in Scandinavia and I’m mixed. I find your generalization wrong. My guess is you’re white and have have had a negative experience with black people so your view is skewed or maybe that’s always how you’ve seen black people. It goes without saying that each person is responsible for their own life but some have it incredibly hard. I’m not sure what you mean when you say all the money to prop up black communities? The schools are definitely not great in poor areas and that’s often your ticket out. Is there a problem with teen pregnancies and no father figure in black communties? Massive problem. Are there lazy black people? Absolutely! Just as there are lazy white people! The reason black people live in ghettos and struggle to get out is much more complex. But unless you’ve looked into and attempted to understand black people and their history especially in America you’re just scratching the surface. It’s different if you go to many Caribbean islands. And someone from the Islands may be different in their values work ethics etc than some black Americans. I think America is an interesting country with lots of beautiful places. But there are quite a few negative aspects also as an outside observer.
