"Swallowed batteries and some hand sanitizer" I worked at a secure mental hospital a little while back. This kind of thing is pretty regular, I was told of an inmate who, while on a trip to the hospital, removed the head rest from the transport van and stabbed himself in the stomach. I didn't believe him until I got to know the guy. He was a young kid, a drug addict, and man did he hurt himself. He had a persistent open wound on his stomach that he'd mess with regularly. His intestines found their way outside of his body more than once. I remember the day he died, he shoved something in his gut that gave him sepsis or something like that. Apparently, on the way to the hospital he was really scared. I think he realized he didn't want to die, although it was too late. Haha this is an old video and I wrote way too much. Oh well

As an RN in a critical care unit, I have dealt with this exact scenario many, many times over the last 33 years often with the assistance of armed security guards. People like this guy are completely irrational and will do anything they can to injure and disrespect the personnel who are trying to subdue and assist them. I, and coworkers, have been injured on more than one occasion in situations like this. These folks have almost superhuman strength at the peak of their crazy. Watching this gave me some unpleasant flashbacks to those experiences. You've got to watch those legs, folks. A mule kick can cause a lifetime of pain and disability which I've witnessed firsthand.
