Adam Richman isn't a plastic fan as he's not supporting a team because they've recently won titles. A plastic fan supports a team solely because of a few reasons: 1. They always win titles. 2. They are rich. 3. They have well known and internationally recognized players. Plastic fans are known for abandoning support of their "club" because: 1. They stopped winning. 2. They decide to be a fan of the rival team. 3. Their favorite players left. If Adam Richman supports Tottenham and stays loyal even when they're in a bad moment, he isn't a plastic fan. Where he's from doesn't matter. The loyalty to one's club supercedes all else in deciding whether someone is a plastic fan or a true fan.

Just because he's not from England doesn't mean he cant be a fan of an English club. I've seen him at the lane many times. Loads of English people like and support American football, baseball or basketball. Why can't he support spurs, they are an amazing club to follow. WIN OR LOOSE COYS FOREVER

I'm from Singapore and I'm a huge Man United fan. You don't have to go to England and watch football to be a fan. You can watch on tv and read about the history of the club to be a fan.

@benjyconway18917 жыл бұрын
+MultiJejje mate he comes from America and maybe never had the opportunity or the funds to come to London as a young boy to see WHL. Just because he hadn't visited the ground until he was in his 30's/40's there's no reason that you could accuse him of not be a true Spurs fan

I think that irrespective of what team you support. Everyone can relate to that emotion. Especially because he has come from America. That kind of love keeps sport being the best and most successful entertainment product.

I am an American and i've only been a fan since 2015. The only manager that I know is Pochetinno. I started watching football during the 2008 world cup, rooting for the US. I became a fan of Spurs because I felt drawn to their history. I can't explain the emotional attachment I have for this club but it is deep for me. I flew out to Denver for Spurs v MLS- Allstar friendly and that was one of the highlights of my life. Tottenham Till I Die!!!

Although I'm an Arsenal fan, I do admire adam Richman's passion for Tottenham. Yeh were rivals but still it's good to see someone like adam, an American, doesn't live in England yet can shed a tear by walking out into the view of the pitch of White Hart Lane, considering the only other time I have ever seen him cry is when he ate the worlds hottest pepper that turned his mouth red. Totally respect that

I have been a Spurs fan for only the past 3 years and I chose them because I wanted to support a team that no one else would cheer for. I began watching soccer with the USMNT and I chose to support Tottenham in 2015. I wanted to learn more about their rich history and I'm still in that process. I've been picked on a lot because I like Tottenham but I don't care. It just makes my fandom for them stronger. God, I love this team. COME ON YOU SPURS!!

This guy lives in a country where football isn't a major sport and they spend time watching events in Europe and never being able to attend big games. We're lucky having such a world class football league and we can watch world class stars in action in most major cities of the UK. When people come over from other countries like America or Australia it can be emotional as they may not get the chance to come again. I respect his passion; it seems real.

there's nothing wrong with being a die hard, emotional fan of a chosen club. i've been a blade for 5 years despite not living in sheffield and i'd probably react the same way as adam. sometimes you can just have an unexplainable connection to a club, you can appreciate their style, heritage, history and passion and support the club and its football in a similar way to supporting a band and its music. Adam Richman is the man. period.

I'm an Arsenal fan (just to clarify and to avoid confusion of my meaning when i say) that all of a sudden i like Adam so much more!! I'm a north London Spurs fan and I really like Adam Richman - now that I know he's a Spurs fan I like him even more. He's clearly over the moon to be at the Lane. I haven't read all the comments here but it seems like there's some negative stuff to do with US sports and 'soccer'. When I went to New York 2yrs ago the Spurs vs Arsenal game was on. There's a Spurs bar called Floyds in Brooklyn with crazy support. No need to get nasty about each others national sports!

Glad he got to see the ground of his dreams, I guess like he said for many Americans who like their footy they never know if they will actually see it. Hope he saw a game while he was here though, it really wouldnt be the same if he didnt. Nothing beats that buzz you get on matchday, and the whole experience itself, especially the first time you go.
