Of course, people don’t want to hear that because they believe that means that their pet won’t appear in Heaven, nevermind that animal ghosts would mean innocent, loving creatures trapped for eternity in a sensationless hell. Major religions already don’t believe in “human” ghosts as anything other than full-on demons, so if you start hearing *animal* ghosts, you could be in for a bad time.

i mean i feel like its a different reason for a lot of it. some are lazy so they make bade trope horror, some are more concerned with aesthetics than an actual good scare, some are not really aware of what makes this scary because theyre immature, etc. on the other hand, a lot of these are small skits made by fx people, and i imagine theyre better at the fx than the presentation of it; they can make the scary creature but its hard to make the video about it seem scary

the girl getting pulled under the bed was definitely one of the most realistic. the giveaway for me was the fact that she wasn’t struggling at all when getting pulled under, just screaming. her mom or someone else she trusted was probably pulling her under the bed and they told her to scream. still a creepy vid, and would have been better if she hadn’t milked it afterwards (though i understand why lol)

AI as a tool is fine to get ideas or to generate something that is too difficult or impossible to make on your own - I've dabbled in it myself a bit to come up with creatures and characters when I was having creative blocks - but I do agree that using AI exclusively to generate something fake then pass it off as "my own creation" is lazy and disgusting.

@@Dargonhuman i completely understand the appeal, the draw, of AI as a tool. as a creative, i get it. when my mind and hands aren't cooperating, it sucks. but we are sacrificing learning skills and self discipline by using it. creative blocks are natural. you deal with it, you put in the work, you get passed it, and you improve; that is the cycle. using AI is cheap and will stunt our creative growth in the long run. AI is just another form of instant gratification we've come up with. instead of putting in the time and energy to LEARN, we rather toss some keywords into a machine and have it spit out a final product, or inspiration for a product. the idea of a future where i can't trust any creation as coming from a real human being is dismal. humanity's entire thing is to create. we make art, and music, and stories. i love innovation, but this whole AI taking the place of imagination and creativity is taking it too far

21:02 yo, full on dinosaur expert here, the dinosaur appears to be some form of heavly altered dromeosaurid (the scientific family of dinosaurs velociraptor is in), However, it also could be some other form of altered theropod. Then again, Im not sure if there is a specific species intent, or its just a generic dinosaur. The sound however came from a video that used altered animal calls to simulate dinosaurs sounds, of which are likely not scientificly accurate. In the video, the sound was used to represent a dromeosaurid known as Utahraptor, making the dromeosaurid hypothosis more likely.

Dinosaur guy here. The noises came from a online theory video that claimed to have the most up to date sounds made by T-Rex and other dinosaurs and they basically just took bird calls, slowed them down, and added reverb. Which is actually not a bad take with birds being classified as true dinosaurs, but from what I understand they claimed to have the backing of a university when they didn't which is kind of a big no no. Don't know what the creature in the doorway is.

On the dinosaur sounds, they are vocalizations created by a YT channel simply called Studio. From their page: "An ongoing study utilizing the most recent scientific data on dinosaur vocalizations. Sounds are produced by myself and digitally workshopped from modern non-syrinx based avian reptiles. Using skull and olfactory cavity proportions, one can attempt to recreate the flow of sound, frequency, and volume of each animal. Much study is required for each particular species, and often several phases are trashed due to general unlikelihood. The final results are based on acute representations of what sounds would be most comfortable and base-line for each animal." So just one guy's interpretation of the data but neat, they're very interesting and I suggest listening to the whole series!
