A brave elderly man trips an armed suspect fleeing from police and it was caught on camera. The quick-thinking grandfather with a cane stepped in to trip the suspect, allowing police to nab him. Body camera footage shows cops chasing the suspect outside a library in Ohio. Police say Shawn Briggs was armed with a 9mm pistol loaded with 29 rounds. If he had faced the suspect and blatantly tried to stop him, the suspect would immediately understood he was trying to stop him and he would push Bill away or hurt him, or avoid him. But Bill acted like a casual, clueless old man, pretending he wasn't even understanding the situation while looking away from the suspect, so the suspect felt safe to pass by near him... and that's when Bill acted, completely catching him by surprise.
