Yep you could use element.room node to draw its associated room. I think archilab/clockwork package have an equivalent for this node also.

Hey Gavin. As always I'm enyoing your content. For this task I personally prefer an Open BIM approach by using BCF files and BCF managers such as BIMcollab. Extremely userfriendly, easy to manage and last but not least BuildingSMART approved :P Keep up the good work :)

Thanks Simon, with the right team and setup a BCF/open BIM approach makes perfect sense. I've used BIMcollab and BIMTrack in the past and both received BCF data well. This workflow was sort of in response to a pre-built workflow a contractor was using also, so I tried to 'level-up' the approach rather than replace it altogether. BCF can be a big jump for someone not in the know.

i also surprised when i didn't see zero after DOT, but finally saw in revit, you should use python script ☺️( just kidding). again very usefull data.

I have a Python script just for this in Crumple (ToStringPY), but didn't want to confuse the viewers too much!
