Just Cried for an hour due to several failures that i faced in life. Focus on things which will work for you,....i was stressed not only stress i have anxiety issues, a lot of depression also.... I don't even know that these were the things which are actually bothering me...i joined your channel approx before 5, 6 months ago....i helped me a lot really....you normalised a lot things to me,it make me feel that i am the not only one who is suffering from such things, i have a lot to say but here I can't, but how you helped me let me know you 1. I started walk every morning coz i was overweight 2.i except my flows and worked on them 3. i was totally a chaman laal but right now i am not😂 4.i worked on my career,my health and my relationships....and it really helped me 5.you made me realise that i m not stressed i was useless,i underestimated my self and the main point is i was not a hardworking person i took my life so lightly, thats why i suffered a lot. I completely agree with you sir I've noticed that whenever i am stressed and i consider the problem causing it look deep into it and try to find solutions to it rather than ignoring it and denying being stressed then it always helps me I'm currently preparing for IIT JEE i'm often stressed but i've noticed that stress gets over me when i'm not working i have my targets due and i'm procrastinating rather than completing the tasks even though i love solving questions but ofcourse it takes up some brain and the brain doesn't want to take pains to go indepth of the problem so i procrastinate and that in turn causes stress. So the only solution to my problem is TAKING ACTION rather than just making plans.

I love this channel as it deals with today's real issues and their realistic solutions. Thankyou Sir for being the best guide for all of us. I was stressed for last 4 and half years, though never diagnosed as it is a taboo for most of us to get our mental health checked by doctors. In my case, the stress was due to sudden demise of my mother, bad outcome of my exams, no one supported explicitly, family responsibilities, couldn't qualify my competitive exams knowingly that I was very good at studies, then after two years marriage pressure, relationship problems as I used to remain sad all the time and for many months continuously. Whenever I used to share these things with my siblings, they made fun of this or rather said that You are negative for no reason. So I kept on feeling bad and suicidal thoughts used to come. Later, my health got deteriorated with many problems like hypothyroidism, fainting, dizziness, rotator cuff tendonitis, COPD, and many others. That was the worst phase. Then slowly, infact very slowly I started accepting that no one was going to help me and rather it's only me who has to work hard for my best life. I know that if one loses his or her life, even after that no one actually cares, everyone forgets. So what is the solution? Ofcourse to work bloody hard and show everyone that you are more than what others think about you. So I decided to work on the problems. I started doing yoga. I stayed away from negative people. Talked less, worked more. I made new friends but very few. Fortunately after talking with tens of my freinds about my situations, only one could actually understand my problems and then he took a year to rectify them. The foremost thing he did was appreciating me all the time, made me realize that everything is very well, no need to worry and I am very special. Thanks to him. Now I know whatever I am doing is great and I don't need anyone's validation (You know it is not easy at all, infact next to impossible but there is some element inside all of us, may be that dying passion that knows that kuch to krna padega apne liye, aise nhi chlega, this thing keep us motivated and disciplined despite all difficulties). That's it. And whenever I feel low, I work on my problems and solve them one by one, slowly. I feel confident afterwards. That is the only solution and nothing else (specially who believes in astrology and kismet, nothing works). Your genuine will and action works. Now everything is falling in place beautifully, though slowly but its happening. Apologize for grammatical mistakes Thanks 🙂

Very relevant video in the current times. The materialism, social media are allowing everyone to escape from reality. I am having chronic stress in all aspects - finance,relationship,work, boss. Have resorted to mediation. Working to retire from work soon to lead a content life. (I am from IIT, 47 years old, lived in US for 15 years and now settled in Bangalore)

I personally have experienced that, not taking action towards the stuff which is causing the stress, and not coming in terms with the reality and totally accepting it, has been the primary cause of stress!! So lets say I have a big assignment pending for the next day or next week, the moment i start getting anxious and start calculating how much time its gonna take...... The stress kicks in, big time!! On the other hand if i just accept the fact that its probably gonna take a little longer than my estimates and immediately jump into action, the stress starts to loose its dominance over the mind, and this is how my experience with stress and dealing with it has faired so far!!

Really it's a nice video..Stress is an enevitable part of life.. sometimes we get stressed due to very useless reason ,and that's why I like what you said in this video...fix your stress.. I feel that it's my nature or my perspective of life which make me stressful.. Whenever I feel stressful, I put on shoes and goes for walking ..after minimum 20minntes of walking I feel relaxed.. And if I feel stressed in night ,I listened to storytell ..it's really very useful to get sound sleep, actually I like to read,but when stressed,I couldn't consentrate...reads same page again and again ..so it is better to keep yourself busy in new ,challenging physical activity, dancing is also a good outlet..

As you said, we have to always address the root cause. Cant simply give up the job as there are bills to pay. But manage my workload better and communicate well to close tasks are the areas I am focussing on.

30 years old here.have been suffering from anxiety disorder and depression since my childhood. No matter what I do I never feel happy and relaxed. I am on antidepressants for the last 6 years. It is generally the closest people of ours who cause us stress. If you can cut those connections, like in case of your colleagues or acquaintances, then do that. Or if it is domestic, then change your environment, live on your own or in some new community, maybe in a pg with some roommate to keep you sane in your solitude. And do clean your room by yourself. Keep order in your life.

I'm stressed about if my college start from this year or will I ever be able to get out of the cycle of entrance exams I'm really tired of it preparing for entrance test and giving it and then stress of result what if it wasn't according to our expectations, will I be judged by my college by relatives friends etc this "what if" cycle is really shitty but unfortunately everyone at some point have to go through this cycle as our society has shaped us in a way that other people opinion matters even our parents they are not satisfied with anything you do and our parents face same stress that's why they out of fear of our failure take harsh steps and it puts so much pressure on us and then Same cycle goes on and on and on:/ Thanks sir for this insightful talk🙏 and giving us a hint by how can we deal with stress is to cut it off for good🙂

For me if you have clarity in life or studies or anything , you won't get stress .... For example 1.If you are traveling from one place to another , if you know the path ( clarity) the you won't get stress ( fear), if you don't know the path then fear will seep inside you and this will create stress 2. Tomorrow you have maths test , if you know all formulas(clarity) then you won't get exam fear because you know all procedures to solve

I think you're student right now.... When you will see the real life your perception will be different.... Life is not all about exams... Suppose you're in a job and even after putting all the efforts you are not appreciated financially and meanwhile you're also having a hard time with inflation which obviously everyone is facing right now... You'll be in stress ... you will look back ask to god why me? When I was so great in academics so great in college and now struggling in a 9-5 job.... Everybody's starting point is not same ....

If you have high expectation then ofcourse you will automatically pressure yourself example if you have to clear a competitive exam , you have to plan logically .....mostly illogical plan like studying 18 hr a day continuously will create stress but if you plan correctly you will be able to study peacefully ( allotting proper time will reduce stress) and "doing something which you don't like will also create stress"

My reason of stress is I don't understand how to live a life... Anything I do turns harmful for me in future... Hence I lack decision taking capacity... Sometimes stress causes me to think about suicide... I want to live for my parents but sometimes my thoughts goes to suicide... Don't know why... At this stage of my life, I'm listening to my parent's advices and thus losing my frnds... In some way it's good to listen to ur parents becoz they decide good for us but I'm losing my frnds one by one.... Life is teaching me to be independent and alone... I'm taking it in a positive way... But still sometimes my brain reminds me whatever happened in my life & then I go in a chronic stress... I hope all the people including me overcome stress & live a peaceful life ahead...💛💛

I am a student I get easily stressed when I don't understand any topic or anything related to my studies. At this time to reduce my stress I take a break for 5 to 10 mins and I watch stand-up comedy or I just play a song and start dancing. This help me a lot in focussing again and understanding the topic. Thank you so much Sir for making such a great content ❤ Please suggest us some more youtube channels or podcast.

I am stressed because i dont have mental peace, i cant stop thinking random things and always say somthing in my mind about anything or any person or myself which i dont want to say but it automatically happens. I got stressed with this fear that people who hurts me they will again hurt me in my life ...I don't know exactly bt I have a fear of hurting...after 1 month there will be my exam Nd my ex calling me ... apologies me for that mistakes he had done ...I don't want that person in my life but I got distracted and I start recalling all the bad memories related to him ...i don't know what to do...

Ok i have a question 5 years ago i was in a toxic relationship but she at some point of time gave me emotional support however it's been 5 years and i have spoken to a lot of females just to keep myself calm , recently there comes a girl in my life she is 10/10 but one day things changed and it turned out to be i was a romantic fool ......so my question is "people say not to attach yourself with others and don't rely on other for emotional support and on the contrary side we as a humans are social beings and since we are social we have our expections from socialty for a sense of security and belongingness in the form of career, health , relationship....what could be right perspective to see things in life with regards to attachment, hope with opposite sex ?
