I had Reverse total shoulder replacement on my left shoulder this past Sept 2023, 61 yr old male - rotator cuff was repaired in 2013. And a debridement in 2020, rotator cuff was basically gone. Started PT 4 days after surgery, Life is good

Hey my friend I'm 61 and looking at reversal replacement a fit 61 year old and do like to hit the gym nothing crazy ,but love to keep shape ,do you do gym work and if so how do you cope ,love to know your out come ,thank you John

Bottom line- shoulder replacements are much more risky than most orthos tell patients.

I've had both shoulders and both hips replaced since 2013. The first was my right shoulder and it is getting very painful. Looks like many things can be causing this. I am active doing many home maintenance chores outside that must be done every year. I have avoided going back to my surgeon due to being on SS Medicare and the cost. I can't hold out much longer.

I had a should surgery repair the first time and it did not respond and the 2nd surgery was reverse ..I had a massive cuff tear and dislocated my arm and wondering why my rotator cuff is still weak ...there is a small bump like there was a tear in the muscle when I dislocated it ...stil a year later my rotator cuff is still weak cannot lift all the way

I had arthroscopic surgery on my right shoulder last June didn't heal this June I had a reversal by the way things are going not healing well why is that
