I am from the UK and had right shoulder done in 2023 and was driving again within eight weeks of surgery. Having my left shoulder done in two weeks time. I suffered no problems at all. I had my surgery at the hospital where the worlds first hip replacement was done by Sir John Charnley, Wrightington HNS hospital

Depending on the current state of the bone, I believe you can prevent fracture with a clamshell before any surgical treatment, if you have anterior lateral bowing but no fracture and a narrow but still connected and uniform canal, early use of bracing can be enough to prevent fracture in less severe cases, I’m living proof of this

I come from the UK and due to, in my opinion, negligence and dishonesty within the UK medical profession, where this Doctor is from. I have been left with my 4th metacarpal dislocated at the Hamate. That was 3 1/2 years ago, this untreated injury with the metacarpals protruding up from the back of my hand, still causes me pain and lack of function in my Dominant hand. A GMC "so called" hand expert, a Mr Sameer Singh, reported that leaving a patient with dislocated metacarpals was the right treatment and the Doctor who originally treated me did nothing wrong in leaving a patient in this condition, so take anything a UK Doctor registered with the GMC says with suspicion. God bless all proficient and Honest Doctors.

I had diagnosed with AVN 3 y ago. They offer in my country THR. Is the Recerf compatible with AVN? Why my doctors didn't offer this procedure? I'm 33y old and I really want to take the decision before I do THR...

Preop as well as postop radiation both have their own merits and pitfalls. Surgery is usually delayed for 5 weeks after radiation to allow for the adverse effects of radiation ie skin burn, peeling, fatigue etc.
