Managing a Pediatric Drowning Patient | Case Breakdown (February 7th, 2025)

🚑 🚨 You are dispatched to a private residence for a 6-year-old who looks to be in a pool alone. The neighbour saw him and called the police as it looked like he was struggling.
🚔 Police arrived just before you pulled the patient out of the pool and handed him over to you.
The patient is blue, limp, and not conscious.

In my recent PALS refresher class, they said to use cuffed ET tube's for everyone. No matter what age they are.
