Doctor could I apply Fluoride Varnish to my teeth at home? My incipient caries lesions are so sensitive and multiplying so fast everyday. Can I do this to stop them from becoming actual cavities until the time my dentist can see me?

The fluoride varnish that is applied at the dental office is a prescription only medicine so I would not recommend this, and we only apply this every 3 months as it is very high strength. There is also a prescription strength (5000ppm) fluoride toothpaste which your dentist may be able to supply you which you can use twice daily. To reduce them multiplying make sure you clean in between teeth also with floss, and also reduce sugar intake . Hope this helps!!
