That big spike in everything breaking down and having the power issue, was due to a Solar Flare that happened in your game, it was on your screen that it was gonna happen, just dont think you saw it The reason those people were so unhappy was that they went without power for too long

I think your general thought processes are good, but you may need to replace some LOCAL Substations with the larger unit. Maybe then feed to larger substation to local substations to reduce loads over a single line or multiple lines coming out of smaller substations. It's the LINES that are getting overloaded more than the substations...

I think maybe you need to have local sub stations coming off of the other sub stations cause that might be why they are over loading your lines in the towns.

That's not how it works You use substations to turn produced energy into usable energy There is no point in putting usable energy to turn it into usable energy The reason his substations were overloaded was because he was using the lower capacity ones

This is pretty much an automation game mixed with Sim City. The powerlines are conveyor belts. Looks interesting.
