definitely not overhyped. They have infinitely better infrastructure. Better roads, railways, cable cars good supply to towns high up in mountains, Himachal has absolutely great mountains, unfortunately theres hardly any mountain infrastructure , years of underdevelopment. Just see the highway in the video , so many unsafe turns, the state of it, hardly any markings. no proper signage is just a few telltale signs that we need to catch up with rest of the world a lot more. Statements like these just make me go ugggh. Why do we settle for so much Less always , we need to demand more from these idiotic politicians and policymakers.

If you wanna see some kindo snow, then you should go around the months like october, march, etc. Cause in these seosons, weather in India is moderate. So you'll probably see that view. Otherwise, your wish and luck.🤗

It’s a beautiful place. We went a few months back. I must say it was neat and clean. No complaints. Perfect. No where you will see such an expanse of green, then brown and white and sparkling blue of waters. I was amazed at the palette of colours of Nature. Jai Himachal. Jai hind. I loved the warm and friendly people and of course wonderful vegetarian food. Even street food is great, and everything from chat to momos. It was a huge surprise. Another not so mentioned place is Vashist. Hot springs. Wonderful scenic place full of great spiritual vibes. Jai hind

I have visited rohtang pass almost 9 times.. but everytime stucked in huge traffic jam and came back after waiting in jam for 6 to 7 hours.. but in June 2014 finally on 10th visit I reached rohtang pass as left MANALI early morning at 4 am as our drive said one night before. Took 4 hours due to Trucks crowd mostly. It was Awesome view and snow was soft to enjoy enough , Had lots of fun and came back to manali by 6pm same day easily but was tired due to less oxygen at that height. But seriously it's an heaven. Driver was experienced , Car was Tata sumo spacio. ( engine sounds like ghad ghad ghad ghad ) 😅 will visit once again after Covid 19 settled down😍 Love himalayas.
