Really like how he utilized the use of his space! Also did a great job on keeping to his themes. Sound proofing is not done with carpet pad though, LOL!!! Carpet pad isn’t even a material that will have much of any acoustical properties except in the very most upper frequencies. He could easily replace those panels with different DIY materials that would actually give a desired frequency response if he ever wanted to though.

How big is your basement to have a bar, movie room, & a salon and still call it small? I love the bar and the movie room I think it's amazing!

My house is only about 1700sf. The basement is. Not very big. Salon is about 9x10, bar is about 12x10 and theater is about 15x11. It's all about using the layout and efficiency of using the space. Glad you like the space!

When you kept emphasising how small the area was (before we got a peek) and you mentioned all that was going to be down there ... I thought the craft room and cosmetology room would be just a teeny tiny area of the big man cave. No you turned a small basement into a masterpiece! The wife getaway ... that is so original ... I love it! Looks like a store beside the pub! 💅🏻✂🧑🏻‍🦰 Loving the home theater too. You did a wonderful job in the basement! Only one thing missing, and you can add it to that gray wall in the pub beside the theater ... a black frame 24x36 movie poster with a classic 1940s poster ... Casablanca ... Titanic ...Grapes of Wrath ... and change it out to It's a Wonderful Life at Christmas time! 🎬🍿You did an awesome job on this. Well done Sir! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I enjoyed watching every bit of this and did not want it to end ... you created your own little home movie on KZbin. You should show this to everyone who comes to your 'basement' and you should show this to the local news/newspaper ... this is definitely newsworthy!

Beautiful bar, and so many great little ideas you've come up with. I especially liked the home theater. For my personal tastes, it's one of my favourites of all the theaters I've seen so far. A beautiful Art Deco kind of look you have going on. There are a lot of old fashion interior themes that have so much style to them. To me, this screams 'class' and I love it; looks so authentic, the interior, the entrance way, the box office, everything is perfect;

Love the whole basement. Because the theatre room size doesn't allow screens 100" or bigger; I would in the future maybe upgrade to an 83" OLED.

@@mancavemasters the endless black hole of home theater is a pit you willingly will dump money into for the rest of your life. Just upgraded my theater to 4k laser projector, 7.2.4 sound, custom 8 seat theater chairs, and custom bar. while still not finished.. it never ends! hahaaha

I’ve been heavy into everything home theater for about 20yrs now and that rabbit hole you speak of has cost me (happily I may add) tens of thousands of dollars over the years. Because of the constant and rapid evolution of electronics there always seems to be a “new and improved” sound codec, receiver, amplifier, or ‘necessary’ subwoofer upgrade every year unless you have the willpower to ignore it and stay satisfied with your current setup. I’m apparently the sucker that most of the HT companies market towards 😂
