Nice trucks l have been visiting the airport since 1960's l used to live near by. I have seen the changes over that time not only in their firefighting trucks but the airport expansion as well. They have 6 Oshkosh Strikers but only have 4 on the run at anyone time, plus they have other fire vehicles as well. Great video well put together nice one.

Took me a while to research that these are indeed Oshkosh and not Rosambaur crash tenders. They look so similar now. My airport still uses the more massive 8x8 Oshkosh Strikers with the angular fronts and back. We even keep an old Oshkosh P-15 8x8 as an antique fire truck to take to fire truck, hot rod shows. Man that P-15 has got to be the heaviest most massive fire truck ever made.

just because these ones have nozzle on each truck it doesn't make them automaticly the most advanced fire.fighting fleet in Europe... they may be good, for sure, but to name them the best just because they have nozzles...
