I remember this choir so well. Stuart Beer was wonderful as choirmaster, and unusual that he was a singer and not the cathedral organist as would be usual. Gordon Stewart would be playing the organ, who I worked with several times 10 years or so later, when he directed the music for many BBC, Songs Of Praise programmes.
