Great video - made me homesick for my adoptive city. I love the place and the people, lived there for many years and go back whenever I can. Sure, it’s not ‘chocolate box’ UK, but it has heart and soul and I’d recommend it to anyone visiting from abroad!

No only in the Cotton textile trade, Birmingham was the home of the metal bashing side of the industrial revolution due to it's connection with Mathew Boulton and James Watt and their Soho foundry in Handsworth Birmingham where the first industrial factory steam engine was designed and built.
