One of the most underrated song writers of our time

It's weird to me that so many people care about his lyrics being exact. It's his song, he can sing it how he wants. And change the words if he'd like.

Andy Hull is in my opinion one of the most underrated artists of our time. he portrays HIS true emotion in an easy to swallow pill that many people can't understand yet if you can you enter his amazing realm where dynamics that many bands or singer/songwriters never travel. imagine a world where every artist used this much emotion. brilliant.
@Visualantics2212 жыл бұрын
a true artist has the ability to sit down with one instrument and make you forget your life and live his life for the short period that he plays. Andy Hull has perfected this art.

i agree. as i a musician and songwriter myself i can connect to more than just the song, but the meaning and emotion behind it. the solo acoustic performance is raw and really illustrates everything he is feeling.. that to me is what music is all about

Same here. I feel like I've lost the love of my life, you know. We lived together over the past year. I remember back in 2012, after we spent our first night together, she asked me in the morning what song is playing in my head. I sent her this one over, as I've replayed it several times on the bus to work. I really do love her so. Breakups are rough. Guess we got to keep moving forward, there's no other way. Hope you're all doing good.

I love all his acoustic versions. The way he intentionally (or unintentionally) changes the words makes the song actually sound LIVE, opposed to a dead on version from the record. What's the fun in that? So thank god for Andy Hull and MO.

Oops, just to clarify for everyone who have misinterpreted the meaning of the song; it's actually about his stage presence. He's unsure about his performances sometimes. The part about his wife dying I'm a car crash was a dream he had. If you don't believe me, look up the interview.
