This was a match where Barcelona were favourites to win and Manchester United were the outsiders whereas with the FA Cup win the previous season which got them into Europe against Crystal Palace where they were the favourites to win and off the pitch had the reputation of English football fans repaired a year after the good behaviour of England fans in Italy following the England team to the semi finals of the World Cup

Eh,no,it was the F.A Cup win the year before !! They went from 6th bottom of the league to 6th from top and won this because of the cup win the season before ! Trying to sound all profound and knowledgeable when you can’t get basic facts right ! Fuck off !

Not a Man Utd fan (Norwich) but was great to see an English team finally sucessful in Europe after the ban, especially with a former Norwich player involved .
