"Where have you been" acoustic is my favorite. I've watched every one of Andy's live versions of that song. There are some early versions of him in small venues where the audience is distracted inside conversation and all the while he seems to be spilling out his guys in front of them. Great stuff. I also love "cope" acoustic. I Iost some interest with this "black mile to the surface" album because of the dark spirited album art...but im making my way back to check in on his acoustic sets.

💕 👏 BRAVO, as always! I’m going on 70, and the 1st time I heard MO’s beautiful music was ‘The Silence’. It was the meaningful lyrics, captivating voice, instrumental background that hit me hard in my heart and soul! Since then I’ve been searching for, and playing, just about everything else they’ve performed/recorded. It was just very recently that I found THIS, and imo it’s another 👍 ‘masterpiece’. IDK WHY they aren’t more popular and well known in the US 🇺🇸, or elsewhere, but they should be! Yet with the huge # of other contemporary artists that imo don’t come anywhere even close to having MO’s talent THEY are considered to be the ‘best ever’ by SO many, it’s sad, a real shame, and hard to believe they can’t relate to THIS group! Maybe it’s bc they don’t have a heart or soul…🤔, but it’s their own loss!

I know how to speak And I know where I'm going I wanted to seek But I got distracted It's a mirage One that leaves me embarrassed 'Cause no one knows me like you You know there's nothing left for you So I continually knew Try to pass it through for you 'Cause I bore you Pestered by pain It's time, listen honest So let go of your shame It's a dead, dampening blanket It's a facade I can look at you training There's nobody else like you I think I finally explained it So I continue to move Between the bank and the blanket Don't fake it I, I'm really gonna try this time Gonna give you my heart in spite of my soul I, I'm really gonna try this time Gonna give you my heart in spite of my soul I want your name Burnt in my ceiling Floats like a flame An unpredictable wonder You gave it all hope And all the of this is a circle There's nobody else like you So many that came before you This is the moment I choose Between the hope and the hardest So be honest I'm really gonna try this time Gonna give you my heart in spite of my soul I'm really gonna try this time Gonna give you my heart in spite of my soul

"I Know How To Speak" I know how to speak And I know where I'm going I wanted to seek But I got distracted It's a mirage One that leaves me embarrassed Because no one knows me like you You know there's nothing left for you So I continually move Try to pass it through for ya Does that bore ya? Asked about pain It's timeless and honest So let go of your shame It's dead dampening blanket It's a facade Go back and look at your training There's nobody else like you I think I finally explained it I continue to move Between the bank and the blanket Don't fake it I really am gonna try this time Gonna give you my heart in spite of my soul I really am gonna try this time Gonna give you my heart in spite of my soul I want your name Burnt in my ceiling Floats like a flame An unpredictable wonder You gave it all hope That all of this is a circle There's nobody else like you So many that came before ya This is the moment I choose Between the hope and the harness So be honest I'm really gonna try this time Gonna give you my heart In spite of my soul

I just found these guys, and this song is hauntingly beautiful with notes of sadness and encouragement all at the same time. People who write and compose songs like this give us all gifts to get us through the day.

Andy Hull's voice has a quality that words can't quite fit. Between boy and man, angel and bare demon, whisper and thunder, it goes circling on, gently humming from -- as if there were heaven to -- earth.
