Mahrez role is not scoring goals , he's an absolute technical player who creates ball mouvement and match rythme, thats the difference between him and salah for example. Salah is a better finisher but he can't give the other players the opportunity to score or keeping up with other's rythme . But he's not bad either he was city's 1st goal scorer lst season and he's top 3 in Algeria's scoring board.

@@niccolosun3416 Liam Delap ,as a forward is in the same bracket, maybe better , against United we needed the physicality of Liam Delap but he's been on loan. Although City lost due to refereeing error, City were dominant old Trafford,, United had packed or parked the bus waiting for loose balls to break away and got lucky with 2 goals. As you said, Rico has shown maturity at a very young age but in such an intensive game, no wonder he was tired around the 70th minutes

Going thru some of the key victories from this season and watching back the highlights. This match was mental. I had surgery on 1/18 and was determined to watch this match the next day. At halftime I was not doing well - sutures were painful and I was feeling like sh*t. Then the second half and I almost popped a suture celebrating! Mahrez.... what a player. he's promising, but we really need more like Kyle Walker type, strong and quick. Our latest defensive performance espscially Ake and Rico is a bit up and down...it's a nightmare for CIty faced the quick counter attack time, last time versus United was messed up too, Garnacho and Rashford simply too quick for City's defense, and also, while Ederson has amazing foot work and very good vision in assist, he's a bit letdown as a shot stopper

@@bosenngantor9160 Readings your comment, I had watched the second half, City dominated United who had packed or really parked the bus, it was their plan, DEFEND AND BREAK ON LOOSE BALLS, so even with high quality defenders it would be very difficult to defend, one thing I've noticed United doing was tactical fouls which a few of their players went unpunished for, for example Fernandes should have got 2 yellows and off on a red but the referee was a disgrace. The referee must have got an envelope under the table.
