Oh my, just love the designs and the colors. You make it look so easy and smooth. I'm still struggling with the swoosh thing but each time I get better as I'm doing it so, right now the tools is my friend and not the brush. Music? I love music in fact I hardly ever watch TV because it's too depressing. Just love putting on music on 24/7 and do my thing. High school in the 70's so, that's my rock music along with 80's and Smooth Jazz. Hope you and hubby have a great time and be safe out there. See you next time.🎼🎵🎶❤❤❤

Awe thank you so much! Same with me, music to clean, music to walk, music to do art. TV is brainwashing. 👍 We had an amazing time! Defiantly gave us some much needed connecting time, and enjoyed the show, probably one of the best I've ever seen. Thanks so much for watching!! 🫶❤️

@@printsandpaintsbymarcy Your Welcome. I have a question? The medium that you used with the paint is it called Floretrol? Want to be sure I get the right one. It's not listed in the description. Thank you.
@printsandpaintsbymarcy7 ай бұрын
@@Mary-gb8li so yes i use either Floetrol or Pouring Medium. I'm not sure if you live in the US but every home depot store sells floetrol, it seems to be the least expensive there $10 1qt. Online its twice as much like on amazon. Pouring medium is the same thing but Liquitex sells it and because of the name it will be the most expensive for that type of additive. 8oz for $15

@@printsandpaintsbymarcy Okay, thank you so much! Yes, Im in the States, Texas. Your right, one medium size bottle on Amazon is ridiculous price because they add shipping. Well, I'm going to run down to Home Depot tomorrow (not actually running...) Haha..that would take forever if I did. Thank you so much getting back to me.

As always, I love your videos and seeing the unique and beautiful pieces you create!! But since you asked, I’ll be honest, I prefer to see less brushstroke swoops. Don’t get me wrong, they are beautiful and faster, but for me, they aren’t something I can master and I don’t have enough time to put the practice to get better. I have so much I want to paint and with little free time to do it, I choose to stick to the techniques I can do. Having said that, I realize I could do the drag or two step swooshes in place of where u do the brushstrokes, but it does end up being a different look. Thank you for all the time u put in to bringing these videos to us❤❤❤

Hi Darlene! Thanks so much for watching as always. You're amazing and I appreciate the love! I will definitely keep it mind to switch up the projects and incorporate more dotting/stylus than brushes in some. ❤️❤️

Dear Marcy, thank you for this beautiful video. 🙏🏻 I especially love the yellow design, I really like it (but the others too). Your project is a really nice idea. I like getting to know you better through the videos when you talk about your life. Thank you for your private insights. I love music, but unfortunately I'm not talented myself. I learned the piano as a child, but unfortunately I didn't enjoy it. But I love dancing. Dancing is freedom for me. I've been listening to rock music since I was a teeanger, especially a lot of metal. I'm happy when I hear guitars. I used to love grunge and crossover in the 90s. Do you know Tool? That's one of my favorite bands. And Nine Inch Nails. And Muse. And System of a Down, ... At the moment I like to listen to mantra music while I paint, it calms me down. Even though it's something completely different from metal, I love this music too. I wish you a nice day and send you lots of love from Germany. My private reply will follow soon. 😘

Would a wood burning tool melt a hole. Or even heating an ice pick. I would be afraid drilling or punching would crack it unless you put tape before drilling.
@printsandpaintsbymarcy7 ай бұрын
Hi Brenda! Yes I would definitely say a wood burning tool would work 👍 I did use a small drill bit, 1/16th inch one, and drilled through the cd at a low speed and it did work. I was very worried it would break but i got lucky. 😊

I am so impressed you do not get paint on your sleeve. :) Love Greta Van Fleet. You know they are brothers right?

Omg they rocked a the show, it was soooo amazing! Yes I know they are bothers too. I think that's why they are so in tuned with each other. They are very inspirational and I love their costumes.
