Wonderful review! I bought Neroli Portofino 2 years ago and LOVE it so much! I thought I'd try the Mandarino as part of the Amalfi line and it smells good....but I actually like Neroli better. I think Neroli lasts better than this one. Either way, I didn't pay full price for either and they're great for summer.🙏🏾✌🏾

The only bad thing about this one and the other two in the series is they don't project very long at all unless you really use a good bit. in comparison You can get away with 1 spray of Tobacco Vanille on the neck and it last about 7 hours. With Mandarino and the other two you need about 6 sprays total to get about 5 hours of projection. 6 Sprays = two to neck 1 each side of chest 1 around mid section 1 on wrist (touch wrist together to distribute) So prett much you have to cover the top part of your body. If you use just 1-2 sprays it last about 2 hours.

The opening reminds me of the classic Dior Eau Sauvage but with a more modern twist. MDA is a beautiful fragrance in a beautiful bottle and one of my all time fresh favorites. If only the performance was better!

I can't understand why Tom Ford launches a fragrance that costs $300 for 50ml (2024) and it can't last more than 2-3 hours on anyone. My Acqua di Gio Parfum costs less than half for the double amount of juice and lasts 8-9 hours easily. Anyone can explain this to me, please?

Excellent review! I tried this fragrance two weeks ago while picking-up a bottle of Oud Wood. My opinion (for what it's worth) is that Mandarino di Amalfi is a lovely scent...but it was too similar to Neroli Portofina and both fragrances performed terribly on my skin. They both sat soft on my skin and did not last terribly long. For the price, I had better smell this fragrance on my skin when I wake-up Sunday morning after applying it to go out Friday night. Okay, I know it's a citrus fragrance...but I had better get 6-8 hours out of an costly EDP. Just like Creed Neroli Sauvage, Mandarino di Amalfi and Neroli Portofino do the Houdini (disappearing act) within 3-hours. I would recommend this fragrance as a buy...if it were $120 for 100ml bottle. Otherwise, it's a pass for me. That's just my two-cents.

Hey. I share the same perspective when it comes to value and the lack of performance. It just doesn't seem fair to only get 3 hours out of something that costs well over 200 for the small size. The smell is great, but a very close cousin, maybe even brother, to Neroli Portofino, and performance is very weak. Ad always, thank you for watching my videos. I hope all is well. =)

Yep, great scents but, in the end, I was disappointed that TF and his parfum experts couldn't make these fragrances last 6-hours. At least I learned from my Neroli Sauvage experience.

I love this fragrance and I have to disagree about the performance. I spritzed it on at 9 and still smell hints of it on my skin. I think that part could depend on the persons body chemistry and hydration levels in the skin. Not to say you are all dry or anything, lol. 😉

Hey great review, to me there should be a red line for a fragrance to be a eau de parfum, it should project at least 2-3 feet and last a minimum of 8 hours, fragrances like this one are trully eau de cologne because of the performance, I dont care if they use 100% natural oils from the backyard of a royal palace, is still poor performance. Nerolli portofino just the smell is a 11/10 but the performace is 6/10, only a summer fragrance.

Just got a decant of this. At first I was a little disappointed -- but relieved that I didn't want yet another TF bottle -- because it came off as a nice, obviously high-quality ingredient citrus, but nothing worthy of the TF name or 250$. But on the drydown once the well-blended civet (to my nose) comes into the mix, I really really like it now.

Ahhh Mr. Steven, one last one question if you have the time: does neroli portofino perform well on your skin (or better than mandarino)? Neroli P. seems to be veryyyyy fleeting on my skin, which is such a shame because to my nose, this scent is abbbbbbsolutely decadent and intoxicating *____* Tom Ford you son of a b~, I may very well have to buy both NP and M.A.
