For Cece: I was a counselor at a domestic violence center and we would always teach survivors about red flags/warning signs for abuse. A big one is moving really fast at the start of relationships; saying I love you very soon, talking about marriage right away, moving in together very early on, etc. It’s a manipulation tactic to gain control over you and secure your trust and attachment to them. I hope this isn’t the case in your situation but please be careful and listen to your gut. Things that seem too good to be true usually are.
@cynthia5882

I hope she sees this comment! The fact that they’re moving too fast and that she keeps saying that it feels ‘ too good to be true’ it’s kind of like a gut feeling that something is off, her story is giving me alarm bells 🚨

i hope people don’t just assume she’s the victim. i hope neither of them are & they’re both just perfect for each other. but she’s the one who starting to talk about marriage, she got the name tattoo first & she is also choosing to have unprotected sex. i wouldn’t take that chance

My friend’s mom used to say that you should never marry someone until you’ve seen them in every season. Meaning you should know how they react/respond in all situations. What are they like when you guys have a big fight? What are they like when they’re sick? What are they like when they are unemployed, or insulted, or grieving, or depressed, or struggling financially? You should see them in action when things are hard and how they treat you and include you before you even consider marriage.

I’ve been in your position when I was 20, I’m now 24, moved in within 2 weeks, 6 months in I was pregnant, 10 weeks after my 1st baby I got pregnant again… now got a 1&2 year old all I can say is I’m now trying to leave an extremely emotionally abusive relationship & now my poor kids are in a broken family for my poor choices I made because our relationship was “perfect” at the start, it wasn’t until I had his kids he became the complete opposite & controls us. If he truly loves you, he won’t mind waiting, get to know each-other deeply, enjoy your dates together, you’re still just young & we tend me to be vulnerable at this age. I wish you very well!

For CeCe I felt the SAME way! He got me pregnant in 3 months and 3 years later he turned out to be a fuckjng narcissistic love bombing psycho that wanted to impregnate a woman he saw as “worthy” to him. And I’m mid 30’s. My son is 2 now and I’m still having to deal with his extreme rage and love bombing. I could write a novel but the point is I was 30 and thought this is the guy that I’ve been waiting for! He listens and is thoughtful and wants the same things!! But I didn’t realize that i basically TOLD him myself by saying this is what I want and this is what I’ve dealt with etc so I paved him a path to my heart. Watch out for those guys girls. Esp when they seem over sexual and ONLY talk shit about their exes. If they have nothing but hate or blame for their exes and / or only had a basket full of 1-3 year relationships and that’s it, red flag

We had stable, professional jobs from which I'm now retired, and my husband is still employed. He was 28, and I was 35. I also believe strongly in not getting too involved until after 3 months. My experience shows 3 months is the "back to reality" stage, and real life creeps in revealing so much.

@Maria L I'm a bit more concerned about CeCe. She doesn't have the maturity to be a good mother. Also, why is she hanging around her sleeping boyfriend's house? She's 20 and should be doing something with her life. She may be doing homework, and/or she may be making sure no one else comes around, but it's odd. A good young couple should be encouraging each other to be their best and follow their dream, not have a baby, and maybe consider marriage. They both have issues imo. I'd love to hear what he has to say. Also, why was he sleeping? Shift work? Living at home? Up studying for a test the night before?

CeeCee's situation is a just a bit scary. There are so many instances where couples meet and "fall in love" at first sight, then, as their relationship progresses (very fast) the guy starts to tighten his hold on the woman, keeping track of where she is at all times, looking at things on her phone, keeping her from going out with her friends, eventually making it difficult for her to even spend time or talk to her family. It's never at first. The guy is "perfect" till it gets to the point where they are living together. Notice CeeCee's bf wants to move closer and then in with her? Lots of times, these guys are narcissists and master manipulators but they are smart enough to wait till they are in a better position to control. And he's already talking about how he can't wait to get her pregnant! Then comes the abuse that gets worse and worse. I'm with Shane. Run, CeeCee, run!

This right here!!! This is exactly how meeting my now ex was and that is exactly what happened with us. He was so absolutely perfect right up until we moved in together. It was like the second we got the keys to our apartment and it was just the two of us alone, he did a complete 180. The manipulation started, I wasn’t allowed to see or talk to certain friends or family, he had all my passwords to my social media, he had to approve selfies I wanted to post on Instagram or fb. It was all insane and I was very lucky to get out of that situation after just 8 months of dating. I thank God every day I got away.

Cece, I hope for your sake that this is a one in a million love story- but as someone who worked in mental health- it sounds more like the beginning of so many abusive relationships that I’ve seen happen. It starts amazing, wild, fast. They’re like someone you’ve known forever. And then one day that passion isn’t there as much and they’re acting different. And you think it must just be that you’ve done something wrong. So you try even harder to get back to how it was before. But it never goes back to that. And they start to treat you worse and worse. Until one day you’re doing anything they tell you to do so that they’ll be happy- and they yell and cheat and blame it on you not being good enough. Speaking from experience with others and myself.. Again, I hope it’s not that. But please do wait. At LEAST a year before marrying, and even longer for a baby. And if he’s the right guy and this is all meant to be- then the wait will fly by and only make you stronger. Just Please. Please be safe.

@@r4ndom7000maybe you were an overly mature young adult or an overly immature 28 year old but the norm is def not to be late 20s and go, "18-25 is so grown and mature and capable of making great choices in relationships and in life." People that age are still learning and figuring things out. I'm 31 and look at that age as still children. "The law" stating 18 is officially an adult on paper doesn't make them officially grown maturity-wise.

Let love flourish. She met his family, he met hers, they're both US citizens and have been forever. That is something that Brittani didn't do. She can be with him for at least a year, then she would've seen the worst and best of him. I wouldn't tell a girl to turn away a guy who is "too good to be true" because there is a chance that she threw away her best choice. This is how women end up with shitty men: by throwing out the good ones and realizing it when they get the bad ones

@Tig ol' Bitties you would be surprised that alot of narcissists/abusers can keep up the facade alot longer than a year. Regarding CeCe, if you suspect her bf is a narcissist, one sure way to make the mask slip is to see what happens when he doesn't get what he wants. It happened to me. The guy was so nice, fun, sociable. 7 months later when I wouldn't do something he wanted, he turned so quick and shortly after he dumped me and moved to a new town 100 miles away. Spooky. Sending y’all some Texas sized love for Uno ♥️ My Partner and I have 4 rescue pups and one of them, Honey has epilepsy. She had a history of awful cluster seizures and we still don’t really know what caused them or why she still periodically has them. That being said we poured a lot of love in to her. We did a ton of research and found the things that worked for her. She went without seizures for years and now that she’s a senior she has a rare very mild one every so often brought on by stress or anxiety! We manage it with medicine (only when she’s actively seizing does she get a very small dose of puppy Valium) which I don’t love but it’s the most natural healthy way and has improved her quality of life immensely. I also swear by real fatty animal protein (beef, eggs, pork, salmon whatever your dog does well with, research and experiment) and getting them plenty of fresh air, exercise and sunshine. Just like humans dogs need all of this plus lots of good quality sleep. She’s a happy healthy old lady who gets around great and keeps up with her siblings! Just trying to say it’s obvious that y’all love and take great care of your animals and that everything will be ok ♥️

The whole Cici topic reminded me a lot of me and my other half. We met randomly in a parking lot when I was 19 and he was 22. He walked over and introduced himself and gave me his number. It was like love at first sight... We lived together after a week and had each other's names tattooed within 2 weeks of being together. It was fun and almost to good to be true is what I kept telling myself. There was a lot of struggles as time went on because he was not completely truthful in the beginning about who he was but we worked completely through it and here we are at our 10 year anniversary this year. We never did the whole marriage thing.. but we both wear rings and call each other husband and wife. We both have always said it's just a piece of paper.. and that doesn't change our love for each other. ❤️

We just celebrated our 10 year anniversary and he has been the best man I have ever been with ❤ dont get pregnant, married, or make any large binding decisions for 1½ years.. Be safe, be careful, and just watch out for red flags..

@@firstlast-hb5xf you are the definition of the word “ew” no profile a$s judging people for what they enjoy watching, go be sad and alone somewhere else because you’re not getting attention out of anyone else so go and try to get attention from your parents again :(

so glad the tests came back fine and Uno is okay 🥺 this brought back memories of when my husky had a random seizure a couple years ago, it was terrifying, tests came back fine, she then had another one about 6 months later, what I think happened was that she accidentally licked some antifreeze from around a car, and the second one I realised it was a new treat we gave her that has the same ingredient as in antifreeze 🥲 if you think you've given her a new food/treat, and it happens again, please check the ingredients 🥺💜 I'm pretty sure I was called sodium polyphosphate, hopefully the same in the states 😊💜 big hug to Uno and you guys, and the rest of the fur babies!

I’m so sorry to hear about Uno. I personally have a little epilepsy fur baby as well. We started Keppra and just recently switched over to Phenobarbital. Oliver has had seizures since he was 9 months old and is now 5 years. I know it’s scary but it will all work itself out. I promise. ❤

I think Cece really needs to protect herself. Being someone who falls hard fast, that just like recipe for breaking your own heart. You know?
