I'm so glad so many others have come to like the universe too! Great story and adventure with characters I've known for over 20 years! For me imo, open world tips because of overwhelming stuff to do just think of it as "i need to make these parts of map visible, so i might be able to fast travel in the future." sorta thinking i suppose. Then things will automatically present you the stuff to do which goes on and on and on 😅 just make sure to not go near the Main Story area to progress the story XD Awesome video btw!!

It seems all the remake streamers like you had the same initial reaction to the open world/exploration but everyone seems to get used to it by the end of grasslands. I think the Proto relic, queensblood and optional bosses/minigames are the key optional stuff to record 😊.

Forgive me in advance, but if it involves a chocobo, isn't that a Kweh-st? :D Ok ok. Loving the play through. I have been having the worst time with KZbin trying to show me spoilers, because I want to find out from your playthrough or not at all. I do like how you get to have a relationship improvement quest for each party member to show you how they can be affected. Also, in case you missed it, Synergy Attacks appear to affect your relationships too. The two you did with Aerith and Tifa affected your relationship with them. Or...Cloud's rather. So if you want to improve with Tifa, probably best to keep her in the party and use the Synergy with Cloud when possible.

It's funny hearing you talk about how open worlds get you insecure because of the sidetracking... as someone with ADHD, that's just how all games are to me lol. So now I just let it happen and eventually I either happen upon the next thing, or run out of things to sidetrack me. 😅
