My first introduction to pokemon was your Sun and Moon series (my parents didn't let me play video games until I was like. 15. So I just watched a bunch of playthroughs). Eventually i lost interest in pokemon for a bit (because just watching playthroughs does get old after a while, especially when you can't actually play the game yourself), and lost track of your channel. After I finally got a switch and was able to play pokemon games, I started paying attention to poketube stuff again and eventually ran into your channel again. However. People really like to make silly little comics about their favorite characters (with or without projection, which is something that I myself am prone to). We know that neither are CANONICALLY gay or bi, we weren’t expecting them to be, it’s just fun, I guess. As for the second point, I’ve seen multiple instances where people have drawn characters slightly darker than their source material and no one bats an eye (people only really care if you say that it’s facts, which it isn’t, or make a character lighter). All of these are headcanons and/or projection people have on their favorite characters. Again, so long as they don’t try to ‘correct’ anyone or treat it like it’s canon, it’s okay.
