I met Doug at Scotty's International Steel Guitar Convention in the mid 70's. He is a very nice person and an enormous talent.

Doug is renowned in the steel community the world over. An absolutely amazing player, both for tone and speed. It's difficult to convey how good he actually is. Best regards - Ben Price - San Antonio Steel Guitar Association

Awesome pickers he just played on one of my picken buddy's cd Darowyn Lee and sounded great. Doug if you see Terry Weeks say hello for me. If had known you were living just down the street from me when i was with the Sego Brothers and Naomi in White House, Tenn. I would have been camping camping out on your door step. Your awesome and God Bless.
