30 years of Mandoki Soulmates!
Fulminant anniversary concert by Leslie Mandoki and his "band of bandleaders" for common values, freedom and a better world with the vision of virtuosity and responsibility.
The Mandoki Soumates celebrated the start of their anniversary year "30 years of Soulmates" with a big open-air concert last Friday evening (August 19) in front of many thousands of enthusiastic people in Budapest in the middle of the historic Castle District.
For this very special occasion, band founder, producer, drummer and singer Leslie Mandoki played with a large contingent of Soulmates, all world-class rock and jazz icons such as Nick van Eede, Al Di Meola, Mike Stern, Randy Brecker, Till Brönner, Richard Bona, Tony Carey, Deobrat Mishra, Fausto Beccalossi and Budapest jazz and Roma music legend Szakcsi.
Although Mandoki has long been an authority on the international music scene, he is still a stubborn rebel who raises his voice for peace in Europe and the world, for freedom, for a society that is fair to all generations, and who repeatedly speaks out on current world political events with clear words such as "Stop this madness, now". The Soulmates as a global, cosmopolitan musical community of values also bring up many of these socio-political topics in their concert program "Utopia for Realists" and ignited a true firework of joy of life and playing on Friday evening.

Damn there are plans to finish it? In that case hopefully more songs from the earlier era of this band will be preformed, it's really interesting to hear those songs reimagined in a very different style
