Amazon's new streamlined order screen has removed this option. I ordered the D&D set and this options was not available and it arrived with the label on the lego box. I needed to contact a rep to ensure the replacement was in an actual box. My tip is always click the "this is a gift" box so they have to pack it to add the message slip

Yellowing is easy to prevent if you ensure your Lego isn't kept in sunlight Compressed air and old paint/makeup/toothbrushes can be useful to keep on top of dust

The Thing with Jango Fett also is that he realy isnt in a lot of Star Wars, like he is already dead in clone wars so from an onscreen perspective he only is in episode two , while Boba Fett is in the OT and now all these shows and do to him being around longer there is a lot more expanded media as well.

Hey guys! I work at an Amazon fulfillment center and we typically run a line in our building called SIOC(stands for single item only contents) and a lot of items get shipped out of the building with just a ship label stuck on the product, and while ryan gives a great solution, another great way to solve that issue is to buy a second small item(doesnt matter what) and it will force us to pack it into a box because itd more than one thing(Or just try ryans way idc😂)

Changing plastic type on a large scale like Lego is definitely costly, but Lego is also the best plastic injection molding company in the world. They have the resources and equipment to easily change over, thus reducing cost. In a normal company, the cost of a product should be double the material cost at least, as a rule of thumb. Lego already isn't following that standard because they are well over double the price of material, so eating that small cost of a more expensive material is probably very easy for them to justify. Its also a social thing, they look better by not increasing price and saying their product is renewable, rather than charging the consumer to make it renewable. And also they have likely been planning a material cost for years, Lego doesn't just use any old plastic, they have unbelievable standards for raw material. The last few price increases over the years could have been compensating for their planned increase in material cost.

The new Jango Fett being in a $250 set isn’t any less fair than Rex being in a $650 set. Rereleasing Rex in a $13 set leveled the playing field and gave everyone an easy way to get him. It may not be until 2026, but I’d be flabbergasted if they don’t do the same with Jango.

Interesting thing I figured out today… The Boba Fett mech based on its minifigure and cloud city type box art is clearly an empire strikes back set… but based on its red wrists and blue jetpack, the mech is the Return of the Jedi suit. Meaning the mech would be a more accurate stand in in the desert skiff set than both the figure in the skiff set and the mech in its own set.

Ask MandR: I just bought an old lego yoda chronicles book from 2013 on Amazon. The set has the year 2024 listed on the back meaning they still produce the old book. What interests me is that the book came with a special forces command trooper lego figure. Does this mean that the old stormtrooper helmet mold is still in production, or that they still have extra minifigures 11 years later?

Last set I ordered from them was the Atari 2600. Got it for really cheap, but when it arrived the box was completely trashed and even has amazon packaging tape on it to hold it together. It has all the pieces, stickers, and instructions though. I would have been mad if I paid full price, but it was near a 50% discount.

I got the star destroyer off of amazon and not only did it have the label on the lego box, but one side was completely smashed and duct taped shut. I still have to check inside to make sure everything is there. Luckily I wasn't planning on keeping the box since I don't have space, but the condition it arrived in is abysmal. Also as someone planning on getting the ucs jango slave 1, I would 100% be on board with getting a jango microfighter.

I've had the same happen, on a number of occasions. Even though I don't keep the boxes, I always return for a replacement on pure principle. You are buying a new product so the box should look new too.

Ok in regards to the Amazon shipping labels on the box, you could just take a air dryer to the label and with enough heat should come off with no damage. I've done this before with video games and is popular to do in the gaming community. @@cdd2qqw trust me when i say this because i work at an amazon fulfillment center, most of the workers dont give a FUCK abt your lego set when they pack it, thats why i always strongly advise against getting collectibles or perishable food like chocolate and things that could easily get crushed like bags of chips, because when they throw ur box in the truck, they could care less if it comes to you broken, as long as they get paid, but i promise when i pack lego orders i pretend im the one receiving it and put extra paper around the box just to be safe
