@@biglee3780 why can't we just talk about the incidents that we are addressing, specifically this incident. Why does there always have to be some negative person that comes in saying if this or if that? That completely disrespect everyone involved in this situation, specifically Mandy, the woman who was brutally attacked! I know you see everything in the world through your negative colored lenses, but that's essentially psychosis when you don't see reality for what it is, when you see everything through your specific lenses. You're out of touch with reality.

TRUE at face value that's what anyone would TYPICALLY expect BUT....if you have the ability to THINK beyond the TYPICAL/IMMEDIATE and NOT to succumb to the basic answer, then you might realize that this woman perhaps prioritizes her cats because that was the closest interactions she has on a daily basis. Because people do things that sometimes we may not understand! Evil is real! So is god! (To me) & this woman is living proof of that. Believe it or not so is he. This could be your son, your dad, your nephew..you just don’t know until it’s you! What he did was terrible I know that! She knows that! He knows it! But was it him?? No. ( I don’t think) nor does she. Forgiveness is very very hard to do in a situation like this. Any really when you have been hurt by someone! It’s absolutely necessary for YOU. Love literally can heal all things! God says “ how can you love someone you have never seen before more than your bothers & sisters on earth” love them like you love him. It’s so true. When she said all she felt was love when she hugged this young man made me cry. I just knew! I knew the feeling she was feeling. It’s bigger than the act. The point of a “mistake” is to learn from it. He is absolutely blessed to have her. I’m sorry that happened but I’m happy of the outcome for them both. Have a blessed positive productive day everyone💖💖💖

When I was a couple minutes into this story, I was getting filled with anger and wishing that the cops had barged in and killed this kid. I've been the victim of an attack something like this, and had a lot of pain in my life like many do. But after hearing Mandy talk and then meeting the young man and hearing the story, it started to melt some of the ice around my heart and by the end of the story I was so glad it turned out the way it did. Seeing the relief and the gratefulness on his parents faces really got to me. Above all else, Mandy is an incredible human being and it's strictly because of her that he had a second chance at life. Amazing story.

the police saw a single man break into the window into the house. as said many times police always assume the worst is happening in a situation, such as a hostage situation taking place. they aren’t going to take the risk of the intruder killing a hostage, on top of them not knowing the number of the intruders nor where anybody is inside the house, or if there are weapons involved. it was for police and hostage safety.

I took acid back in high school and a few times after high school. I was sooooo fxcked up I literally didn't know what was going on. I thought I was driving one time when I wasn't and I thought I had shrunk to a mouse size and it was raining and flooding in my driveway and I thought there were sharks in the street and I thought the neighbors house was a pirate ship. Then I laid in the street to escape a monster (*another time) and when I was taken inside I tried to dig thru the wall to another dimension. So when this guy says he felt like he was going insane & have completely irrational thoughts, I fully believe it.

Mary Thomy It's important to understand that it's the easiest thing in the world for a psychopath to appear perfectly normal, and to make ordinary decent people believe in them. It's not beyond the realms of possibility that this individual could do the exact same thing again, only next time with fatal consequences. It's happened before, it can happen again. Forgiveness is one thing, but to let a potential killer go free to satisfy one's own soul, is quite another.

Two things: LSD is a vicious drug, especially when tainted, and I hope this guy dumped his lousy friends.

C. T. LSD is a wonderful drug. Except when it’s tainted, or you take too much to handle. That’s just people being irresponsible and not testing their stuff, or not getting it from a reputable source.

Most likely it was PCP he was given, not LSD. Anyone familiar with acid would not consider it a vicious drug. its is not addictive and does not known to promote violent behavior. Everything he describes is indicative of PCP, a cheaper drug. Unless he was drug tested he wouldn't know the difference

C. T. Wonder if his friends were white/Caucasian? I'd like to know!! I don't know why peer pressure is so strong. What kind of human being forces another human being, to do such a thing?

Wow, what a beautiful and lovely woman. When she recovered from her injuries she truly blossomed into something beautiful. It's extremely difficult to forgive someone who has physically abused you. She realized that the young man was not in his right frame of mind. I hope that he will clean up his act and never take drugs again.

Am watching this and crying you would think it's my son. Am very grateful for this lady, she has saved a young man's future. What he did would have destroyed his life. A blessing is coming for you lady.

This is one brave woman. I can't imagine sitting next to someone that did to what he did to anyone not just me. He is also a brave young man, who admits his mistakes and asks forgiveness!!
