not necessarily. It could just have been a family culture of high expectation, since the kid seemed to be excellent and chieving on many different things in her childhood. When love is shown only when excellence and perfection are met, when love isn't unconditionally shown, then often, as for this young child, when she reaches failure or struggles to achieve, then the low self estime and the feeling that she would be rejected comes up. I'm not saying that it is the case here but here is an alternative to the underlying issues. But praise God for the mum who fought hard to save her daughter and seemingly is showing her love for her daughter despite her past and runaways... that daughter, if she had any doubt of her mum's unconditional love, now she has proof.

The comments here are horrid and judgmental and nosy about the victims details. The girl was 15!!! a child! what do you think they are hiding? it's called none of your business. privacy. Because even if the internet knew the details they would tear the girl apart with judgement and more questions. kudos to Megan Kelly. Good interveiw. Thanks for respecting the guest and our president.

Can I ask what their class has to do with any of this? So many times she has said-this middle class woman. So if a lower class woman wanted to fight against someone for their daughter it wouldn’t be as extraordinary?
@Hope-si1kb4 жыл бұрын
I think she means because middle class is just an average woman with a decent paying stable job. So shes saying it is extraordinary because she was able to go against these people when she is an average woman who isn't rich. The richer you are the easier court is

I think she mentioned average, just middle class, as that class was not a factor in her decision to run away.

Jeanelle Rene moms are always looking at like that. Because their kids and it's more likely than not that they will say something that embarrasses them or effects them in some way they don't understand. I did that to my son all the time and he was an A student and very responsible and honest but he spoke impulsively at times, as do all children.

This story doesn't quite make sense because of one bad grade in my candid opinion I somehow thinks her mom seems to be a very demeaning person like her daughter cannot make a mistake she's not supposed to fail or else there will be consequences why would she say she didn't want to disappoint her parents no one is perfect we all will fail at some point in our lives I can't comprehend this one
@skylite53296 жыл бұрын
I understand somewhat why you can't comprehend this one. Maybe there's reason's for the oddness. I hope the mother isn't forcing her to come on the show. But, we just don' t know. Don't blame the girl. Why would a child be so scared of a parent (question mark) There's obviously something wrong. But, we can't blame this young lady. I'm sure there's more to this story, as well. But, I'm certainly not pointing fingers at this young girl, who has suffered horrible things.

BELIEVE ME, THERE IS MORE TO THE TRAFFICKERS TORTURE, ETC. THAT THESE WOMEN DONT WANT TO TELL THE WHOLE WORLD. AND THAT IS CALLED PRIVACY. LETS HEAR YOUR STORY AND THEN WE'LL DECIDE IF THERES MORE TO YOUR STORY. AND THERE ARE MANY MORE YOUNG CHILDREN AND YOUNG GIRLS THAT END UP DEAD. I AM FOREVER GRATEFUL THAT THIS MOTHER NEVER LET UP IN PURSUIT OF FINDING HER DAUGHTER. MANY MORE LIVES SAVED.
