i still to this day believe if she sang release me as the final song, she owuld have won the show.

Considering the fact that the final 5 consisted of herself, Sara and Hero, Light Balance, Angelica and Darci, it still would have been a tall task to win it all. Honestly her getting eliminated in the final round is probably a blessing in disguise since she would have had to sign a contract with AGT had she won. At least this way she could do what she wanted after she left.
