She has to be one of if not the most inspirational vocalists of this generation. I feel as though her voice literally embodies the spirit of music in it's purest form. You can just tell that she does this not for fame or glory or to even be remembered she does it because she loves it and wants to share her love with the world. and I truly happy and thankful that she did she is incredible.

Beautiful voice. I hope they stop calling her a "deaf singer." It pigeonholes her & makes people expect less. They shouldn't. She's as good as any hearing person I've ever listened to. Not that her story isn't inspirational; it is. But her story isn't her art. Her singing is her art. Don't confuse the two.

I am a music major. We can read music without hearing it being played. This comes with training and the voice becomes an instrument. She sang and studied music before she lost her hearing. Like most songwriters, they hear the song in their heads, then write down the notes. When she lost her hearing, she started using a piano tuner app to make sure her voice stayed in tune and she practices very hard every day to stay in tune and read music.

Sarah was there signing the whole song on stage for the attendees, when Mandy played the ukulele. Mandy signed the rest of the songs herself. For the video, the signer is in view much of the time and the video is closed captioned.
