I’m on my 4th bottle of Coromandel. HG for me. I tried that new Eilish perfume in Ulta yesterday. I really love it! I will pick up a bottle soon, or maybe the travel size to make sure I love it. But, it does smell soooo good

Dang! Why didn’t this pop up for me last month! Well… now that masks are no longer mandatory my interest in makeup is back in full force and I’m catching up with all your makeup vids! But still obsessed w fragrances! Newest purchases - roses berberenza (ugh blind bought and it’s still growing on me…lol) and soleil cristal Lancôme (love!)as we head into the warmer weather! Makeup-wise, just ordered that new (to me) Lancôme concealer… and been loving Patrick Ta bronzer duo! Intrigued with the Billie Eilish!

I typically don't love citrus perfumes, but I do love aldehydes. If you like the aldehydes in Chanel No. 5, I highly suggest "Stairway to Heaven" by Jul Et Mad. So good!!

Mandy, you've made me so obsessed with fragrances that those are the only KZbin videos I watch anymore!! Earlier this week, I was like, 'Man, I really miss watching Mandy. I wish she would make another fragrance video,' and I thought about DM'ing you on IG. Now, I wonder if I actually did send you that DM or maybe you got my message/wish telepathically??? LOL. PS. You can tell Chad that Ellish isn't a designer fragrance; it's a celebrity fragrance, hehe, which generally targets a different customer base. And btw, I *have* been hearing that stores can't keep it in stock because it's so popular but the bottle is so ridiculous that I will never buy it. (And I admit I neither know nor care who this person even is.) But good to know that the travel spray is an option, haha!

I've been into berry-based fragrances this week and I absolutely LOVE peony fragrances, so your Hermetica sounds amazing. I have to check it out for sure. Speaking of scents with berries, have you compared PDM Meliora with Lalique Amethyst?

I was initially very hesitant about the Billie Eilish perfume because I usually don’t like any perfumes from pop stars. Im not a 12- 15 year old girl, which (just a guess) is probably the group which comprises most of her fans. NO disrespect whatsoever to Billie Eilish. She’s a tremendously talented musician. I’m just not in target demographic. I don’t have any fragrances from Britney, JLo, Arianna Grande, or any other pop stars, so I was a tad dismissive of this one too, thinking it would be ultra sweet and syrupy like the rest. However I got a little scent strip of it in my Ulta catalog and I really liked it, so thought I would buy the smallest size to see how the actual perfume smelled. Some reviewers say that it’s a glorified version of Warm Vanilla Sugar from Bath and Body Works, which I can see-but I would say it’s a more mature, sophisticated version. I do like it. The longevity is a bit lackluster, but I must say it’s the first perfume from a pop star that I’ve liked and purchased.

What’s your experience like with baccarat rouge 540? I kept hearing how it’s the most popular fragrance in that line and when I tried it on I liked it enough. But having it and wearing it I’m really on the fence 🤷🏻‍♀️ some days I like it and some days I just am not feeling it . Some days it smells feminine and powdery and other days it smells a little masculine . It’s such a unique fragrance I almost feel like either you really like it or you don’t or you’re like me where you just don’t know what to think 😂. So I’m very curious to hear somebody else’s take ( that isn’t worried about hurting my feelings)

I like having mine for days when I'm in the mood for a non-floral, non-gourmand, but still lovely scent. I also like it for bedtime when I want something light and airy. (I'm wearing it right now, lol!) It's calming and "quieting" to me. I can't imagine not ever having BR540 in my little stash of fragrances. But that means I definitely need other fragrances for those days when I'm in the mood for florals or fruity or stronger other scents. If you like a sophisticated, elegant scent that is more feminine, perhaps you might want to get a sample of Kilian's Love don't be shy? Have you tried others from MFK besides BR540? I got 4 samples (2mL each) from his original website and only paid for DHL shipping from France which was a little over $15. Two of the more feminine scents I got to try are Amyris femme and A la rose -- lovely for spring. Sticking with his house, I also have gentle Fluidity gold (vanilla) and have sampled BR540 Extrait -- love both! Sadly I'm not sure what is happening now that he also launched a U.S. website this past week or so.

I have some of the Tom fords too and when my husband wears the same one it throws me off ☺️so I think I’m just going for female fragrances from now on instead of unisex.

@@jcjccmz I just got to smell it, Sophora carries it but only as a sample rt now . It’s very sweet, I do like sweet. I have to say its smell reminds me of root beer float 🍺 ☺️
