I too am a blind cook. I lost most of my vision about 5 years ago, around the age of 40. I learned to read braille and made braille labels for all my spices and canned goods. This allows me to be more independent in the kitchen. I enjoy listening to your videos and have tried several of your recipes. Keep them coming, thanks!

Speaking of grandparents, let me first say how very much I love and miss them. They were such an important part of my life, even influencing who I am and what I grew up to be. My papa had cancer, and that’s what took him, but I would stay with them for days and sit with him, walk beside him in case he needed gramma and then I could run and get her quickly. And I also brought him his pills 💊 in a little soufflé cup along with a glass of water. He always called me, “Papa’s little nurse”. So I grew up to be a nurse that works with cancer patients. I am an RN and I work for Hospice. My gramma’s influence took me into the kitchen for cooking and lots of baking. Anyway, short story long 😂, all of that to tell you a quick little fact about my gramma. She ate white bread with: butter, RAW onion slabs covered with salt and pepper. Now that is one thing that did NOT rub off on me. Might be good, I don’t know, but I’m never going to try it to find out. Love you guys ❤and thank you for listening to me carry on and on. Memories tend to do that to me❣️

I just want to say a huge thank you for these videos. It has been a really rough year and a half (I’m legally blind, my toddler was diagnosed with cancer, and we lost a baby boy at 5 months pregnant etc) I tell you this because your videos give me a place to just relax, escape from the hard for a few minutes, and get me excited about cooking again. My toddler loves to sit on my lap and talk about what you are doing. Thank you for sharing your time and talents and especially your humour and for being human and realistic that you don’t have to be perfect to enjoy cooking and sharing that with people. PS I love how supportive your husband is with you doing these videos. It reminds me of my husband’s constant love and support and makes me smile. Merry Christmas!

Another great video! I want to tell you that I had some friends over for dinner tonight and I did an appetizer/dessert menu. I searched your videos for appetizer ideas and made the Loaded Mashed Potato Bombs recipe that you posted about 2 years ago as one of the appetizers. They were a huge hit and I sent them home with the recipe! I also made the cocktail meatballs from that same video using cranberry sauce and chili sauce. I too always made them with grape jelly and I still think I like them best with grape jelly, but everyone loved them this way as well. Thank you for all the great recipes you share in every video. You are an inspiration!

Something to consider, regarding your "Crockpot Beef Stew". Consider using your Instant Pot for this meal. You can use the saute mode for browning meat and cooking unions. This way you have all the "brown bits" or fond, which is added flavor. Then switch to slow cooker mode. At the end if you want it thicker, switch back to saute mode and bring to boil. One pot meal too :)

I usually watch you (and Steven) on my TV and I have no way to comment at the time they first come out. I have to tell you that the Baked Ziti (Rotini) Casserole is AMAZING. The first time I made it I only got one little serving then my son (35yrs old) and my husband demolished it! So I made it for my church's monthly lunch. I doubled the recipe and took 2 large pans. There was only about 13 or so people. I brought less than half of the last pan home and it never made it to the fridge. It is a small bit ahead of the Killer White Chicken Chili which I have made several times as well as the White Chicken Enchiladas. Needless to say I watch as soon as a new video comes out! Thank You and May the Lord bless you and keep you. "May the Lord lift up His Countenance upon you and give you peace."

I'm a little late getting around to watching this video, but I am DEFINITELY making that beef stew! I'm not a fan of cooked celery, so I'll probably replace that with some celery seed instead. But something I also love in beef stew is green beans and fresh mushrooms. I think those might take this over the top for me. I can't wait to give it a try! Thanks for all you guys do! 🥰

It's 8 degrees here and I made this Italian Chicken Noodle Soup for dinner. My husband love it and he never wants any other chicken noodle soup again. I only had to make a couple of changes (with what I had on hand) I used chicken thighs & shell macaroni. Thank you so much for sharing all these amazing dishes on your channel. I like how you keep it simple and totally real. Y'all take care. ~~~~Tina

I love watching your videos as well and the fact you two are different by showing your reactions to the dishes you make. This makes them even more enjoyable to repeat. Though I do follow several others cooking the spouses are not in the videos. I understand they are probably camera shy. My husband is too. Lol. I am going to try all those recipes you shared today.
