When my son was about 3 or 4 years old, I asked him if he wanted mac and cheese for dinner. He said no, I want "turtle weenies". It took me a while but I finally figured out he was requesting tortellini. lol We missed you Mandy. ❤

Yep, I can't stand the peel of a cucumber, so I peel my regular cucumbers. However, if I am making some Mediterranean dishes with cucumbers, I will use an English cucumber, and then I don't peel it

When I want a wrap with Romaine lettuce, I use my Romaine like a vessel for the meats/cheeses, etc..I don't cut it up. And then I wrap it up.

i had this on while i was sleeping and for some reason thought a tortellini salad greekish style and thats what we are having tonightt. that dressing is a process but easy, just needs to rest twice before its done. we added 50-60 sized shrimp...because its a no meat day. also cleaned out our veggie drawer so lots of different veggies.

Thank you for sharing these recipes with us, they all look amazing!! It depends on what I am making if I peel my cucumber or not. I use the wrapped European ones and if I don't use it all I just wrap and put back in fridge. Sometimes just for the look I will take a peeler and go down the cucumber on four sides....that gives you a little of the dark green and light green color!

I do not peel english cucumbers, which is what I prefer. But if I buy regular cucumbers, I ribbon peel them, so you get some peel, but it's variegated. Great ideas for lunch! Thanks!

Hi Mandy - thanks for all of the great content you share! Love the critiques from the fam!! You asked, "do you peel your cucumbers?" My answer is I stripe them when I'm slicing them for a veggie tray, but for any other purpose, I leave the skins on.

One of my favorite Go-To summer meals is stuffed tomato or Cucumber. I usually stuff with Tuna or chicken salad, I semi-peel stripes into the Cuke to lessen the peel then use a spoon to deseed it. I' use a knife and cut the top off the tomato and slice around inside then scoop most of the pulp out. Either is a quick summer meal and the salad can be made for a meal and then used to stuff. I think I'll take the hint and top with croutons or French fried onions for some crunch.

Hi Mandy❣️ First let me tell you how much I enjoyed your living room refresh with Tabby. The result was absolutely stunning. Inviting, cozy and homey. I love it❣️. Switching gears here, when it comes to cucumbers, I feel like I only peel the regular ones. The English cucumbers 🥒 I leave the skin on. Now that I think about it, there’s really no rhyme or reason to that. I guess it’s because that’s how I’ve always done it 😂 Great video today too. Can’t wait to give these cool summer eats a try. Yes I agree sometimes things can definitely be too Cesar I heard you talking we make our own version but we do thin chicken cutlets, seasoned to a fault on the grill and then we just do the wrap, the Romain lettuce, the dressing, croutons, and grated Parm. We probably have a twice a week it’s our favorite thing

I peel a store bought cucumber because they tend to be waxy. I do not peel a garden fresh cucumber because they are not waxy.

You are correct about Caesar flavor. Sometimes it overwhelms the dish. Just dress it, don’t drown it. I also, peel my cucumbers but not always. It depends on the type and the thickness of the peel or what it is going in. You said tzatziki correctly the first time tah-ziti. Thank you again for your efforts. Love n hugs to you all.

I was just mentioning wanting Caesar wraps to my husband yesterday. I always use Greek dressing for my Greek tortellini pasta salad instead of tzatziki. I also don’t peel cucumbers. I might peel stripes on them if I’m feeling fancy.

I've been craving some egg salad! This one is a must try. Let's talk tortellini salad! Since y'all like a little spice, chicken with harissa spice would be amazing. Heat from the harissa and cooling of the tzatki 😮

Tzatziki is made from yogurt and mayo is thick too. I'd mix in a small amount of milk to the Tzatkiki before putting it on the pasta for a thinner sauce or simply add some of the pasta water to it. I'm definitely making that salad. Thanks for the recipe.

Like you, it depends on what I am making and if I am just making it for myself or others. Normally I keep the cucumber skin on. If I make pasta salad with it, I will peel.
