Thanks for the review, very helpful. You can use a harness hook on that waist strap too, which helps save energy when going a long way upwind.

I started using dry backpacks but they would eventually break when I fall into the water (they act as a bubble trying to go up while I'm pushing down with my weight when falling). Now I'm using the Manera vest, which is great, but you need to fold the wing properly so it stays there. What I like about the vest is that it will not carry water other than in small folds of the wing. My doubt about the new backpack is, that because is not dry, if it'll carry a lot of water if I fall repeatedly. Depending on the conditions, I would get up on foil in the first try, but I could also fall a thousand times before getting on foil :)

Have ever tried deflate prone downwinder? Maybe on a mid length or a short DWSup board.

Have not tried. It takes some pretty good conditions to take off prone, which we don't really have. Taking off with a paddle is a lot more reliable in my opinion.

Nice. I know it's not the point of the video, but it would have been interesting to see you deflate and pack the wing while out on the water

Do we know the volume of that backpack or until which size of wing you can store in it approximately?
@DamienLeroyYouTubeАй бұрын
Not sure on the volume, but it fits a 5m wing quite easily.

Hey, love your content! 🙌 Would you consider making a video about the top 10 tricks every wing foiler should know or a progression guide for essential wing foil tricks? It would be super helpful for those of us trying to improve! Thanks and keep up the awesome work!
Been using a Patagonia dry backpack and it’s great similar Chest and waist straps are super nice on it for holding it secure. I’ve been using twist ties for the paddle but interested in those paddle straps, do they stay on the wing when you pack it up?

Yes they stay on the strut when you deflate your wing: wingfoilprocenter.com/products/manera-paddle-attachment-spare-parts-wing?_pos=1&_psq=Paddle+at&_ss=e&_v=1.0
