For me it's not the matter of prices but it's a matter of hairdressers not having much experience with cutting curly hair. So my hair is 3a/3b, and the curls can last up to 5 days without a need of restyling however every time I go for a cut, my hair goes crazy for a few days, ends up looking wavy, dry, brittle and what not, until it goes back to it's curl pattern. I mean, hairdressers here are amazing, it's a very high quality studio however, people here, if they have curly hair, they just want it straightend so hairstylists can't really get much experience on what to do for curly hair to make it look amazing when actually worn curly.

I wash every time I swim (4-5 times a week), condition everyday, and do a hair mask 2-3 times a week. I never really use styling products because I usually just put it in a French braid so that I don’t have worry about changing my style for swim or dance. I hope that helps!

But my hair is all trimmed and even and the definition in my cursl are BETTER. Can't wait for it to grow out. Prioritising just the dog, our food and health then bed was all i did for as long as it took 2 work on personal growth thru pain i guess. U will b proud as ur decisions u initially choose WILL B different when ur strong, determined and renewed. Easy as ' all appts 4 months( 4,5?) from 2moz will stop for an extended break with no further info at present. Stay in a spare room with family members here and there as much as possible. Rent a caravan????? We camp. Dug & me. Ok- felt ur pain yest. Am very proud as ur mum would be & no one who loves u wants u stuck tired & sad. Well done. I would LOVE to have you cut my locks! I love the same shape you do. Everyone likes to cut it in a triangle & too heavy on the bottom...You have a clue & you sisters have thee most beautiful curls!! My sister & I called each other 'Seester' too. I lost her years ago & miss her every day! Cherish each other!

Love this video! I live in a place where curly specialists are hard to find. Plus, I’ve feel loyalty to my hairdresser that I’ve had for years. Can you do a series of videos on how to ask to a non-curly hair stylist for different curly things? And then demonstrate them on another person or dummy head? I was think it should be a series guide so that you can address all of the curl patterns, fine to coarse hair, low to high porosity, and specific cuts for face and head shapes. Maybe you could include how to style a curly client’s hair for their natural pattern, instead of the typical blowout, so the client can assess if they are happy with shape before they leave. Typing it out, it does seem like a lot to ask. But I was thinking this may address how you were saying you felt bad that you can’t possibly accommodate every new client request. No pressure! I love all your videos and will always watch! 💕

Is it therapeutic to trim your own hair since you're a pro? I'd love to feel confident in each snip if I did mine lol

This is good timing I was just thinking its time for a trim! I usually have my regular stylist do it but im butt nekkid broke so I have done it before and I can do it again. I still prefer to cut mine dry because I have soo many different curl patterns and when I trim it wet i tend to get a little wonky so I cut on and old style dry and then wash, DC and style then go back through and trim again.
