We finally get the outside section done for the racing pigeons and installed the day perches for them and a ledge so they can enjoy the sun or rain!
we move in a few more young birds and start to wean them out!

Hi when you feed the birds that are molting pour some olive oil over the food it helps the birds molt quicker

Awww beefcake, good on ya big lad, that lil spread hen and him will make some nice chicks, could throw a spread, but the chicks will defo carry spread I think.... I'm not to sure

Kurt, I agree with you to build a extension, but don't fly of babies because the parents would be tired of feeding the babies. Fly them only of false eggs.

Build another section on the side to suit the size of 12 wh boxes use one of the smaller sections you already have for hens

At this point i am thinking Meadow One Loft Race seems to be well run and in Melbourne so i like the wetter colder weather! but also GC50k & Blue Hills One Loft Race im considering all run benzing live so can all follow along!

What is a one loft race ?

One-loft racing is the process of training birds bred by many different breeders in the same loft, under the same trainer and in the same conditions (as opposed to trainer against trainer in their own lofts and usually with their own birds). The pigeons breeders donate the baby bird to the flyer who will train them and race them to the one loft, his loft.

@@ManeyPigeons I haven’t raced this season the QPF are flying North .. Today they released the birds from Townsville & Bowen it’s the final races of the season .. I’m in a shocking spot for the north line so I have this season off to give my birds a rest and sort out new breeding for the next two years .. West & South West .. I’m in a great line of flight for these Racing schedules … Racing has been good for the flyers I speak to for this Year .
