This song was used in Das Leben Der Anderen, movie about the Stasi in DDR.. and it was Ernst-Ludwig Petrowsky himself who performed the song at a party in the film

How could Petrowsky write this gemstone for a film in 2006 within a scenario from 80's in the GDR...? He is a former eastern German citizen, I know...The piece really fitted on the Academy awarded movie as it actually was in that era... it reflected vividly what music and culture used to be in that exemptional country... modern and breathtaking jazz in the communist Germany...
