Not Mannfred but sorta related, his neighbor, Volkmar. Getting his Books of Nagash is a pain. Any plans on doing a campaign guide on the best way to get the books? Drives me nuts that some are spread out amongst your allies (Karak Eight Peaks, Ulthuan, etc) forcing you to attack them.

I am trying to do the quest 'sword of unholy power' i have taken all my armies to the sword and can not get the quest to activate... anyone know the solution? i cant interact with the thing at all.

Whats the battle plan vs Skarbrand? i ended up crashing into him turn 20 on a Legendary/VH campaign and he steamrolled me, just blasted through my lines and everything crumbled

Kill all of the units aside from Skarbrand by damaging them as much as possible, while holding Skarbrand himself with zombies and your zombie summons. If you’re able to destroy Skarbrand’s units then he’ll get banished and die

@@napzap6539 thanks for the advice! I actually got the Leg/VH campaign win a few weeks ago by luckily avoiding Skarbrand til I could auto resolve win against him and then quickly mop up. I stopped at Short Victory as all the dwarves were str 1 2 3 to the North and declared war against me (Str 4) and it became unfun fighting them over and over.

Zombies are a pointless unit choice though. Better to get skeletal units and try to cause some major battles on the map to unlock premium raise dead units. I like getting large anti infantry units - i play a defensive tactic by drawing the enemy into corrupted lands and then charging their city
