I'm a big advocate of keeping manga (and books) that have sentimental value from when you're young, even if you don't like it as much now, because it represents a piece of your life when, no matter the series, it captured you. Your library becomes a time capsule. I fell to peer pressure to purge much of my collection from the 90s and early 2000s and I regret it.

Actually I'm pretty sure 帯人 would be read/pronounced as "taito" as there is no "ti" sound in Japanese. Though I'm not sure if the author meant for it to be pronounced differently in English

@@soapia_ Really? That's strange... Maybe the translators did a bad job and his name should be written as "Taito Kubo" on volumes in the west.

Great video mate! I also started collecting since summer of 2020 because I was getting tired of the One Piece Anime 😂 so far I got 409 volumes in my collection Reading the Big 3 has been a better experience compared to the animes the art is incredible

You have a great collection, both manga and funko. I have a question though, it's an odd one at that so apologies but are you from the UK and if so do you have any ideas as to when they'll continue to re-release boxset 4 of One Piece? That's the only boxset I'm currently missing and with it being sold out everywhere the only places I can look up is eBay which can be pricey and somewhat suspect and a website called the Isle of Manga which I know not much of. Also, if you think Prison School is hilarious then I recommend you read Grand Blue Dreaming, no joke you will absolutely laugh your socks off. I remember just randomly coming across it on the Internet and reading it and thinking I struck gold with this manga, fast forward I own all current volumes of the manga, money damn well spent. You definitely won't be disappointed.

Nice collection, it's clear that you know what you enjoy, although it's cool to see you check out Berserk which I feel like is a bit off of the beaten path for you. Any plans to sell off series that you aren't feeling? How is your space for future expansion?

Hate comments like this, sure there are tons of collections with 1000 plus volumes. But this hobby ain’t cheap. His collection atleast over $5000. Besides involving money, 480 is still a lot.
