Manga Double Page Spreads (Traditional and Digital)

As I work on my one shot, I prepare a manga double page spread both traditionally on paper and digitally through Clip Studio Paint EX.

When the double page spread is bound into a book, how do you keep the middle from being cut off?

To prevent the cut off, when you scan your work, using the middle line as a guide, just select both pages and realign the pages to have equal side margins. One extra step in a digital format, but most who does traditional will need to implement some digital tweaks eventually

@@REMCreates Im sorry, what middle line? I would appreciate a tutorial on how to finish the process and showing this step. I always find it confusing to draw double spreads because of that cut off margins on both sides.

@@rogueninja185 this is a great idea for a future video! To answer your question now, I moved the drawing space of both pages towards each other to eliminate the center margin on paper to draw easier, but in digital editing after scanning you can select the half’s of each pages and recenter them on each individual page to restore the margins for printing
