I like how they touched on some of the challenges a man faces when trying to start a relationship with a single mother. There can be a lot of baggage and emotional scars that come along with a single mother in addition to the challenges of stepping in as a father figure for a child. It doesn't always go smoothly or have happy endings so it is nice now and then to see a happy story like this to give us hope.

Yup, just like kawaii romcom mangas' today's episode, I already know how this will turn out for my messed up morning. and to think this drawing style comes back just 3 days later. I could care less but the last time we had a mother/son moment was 2 months ago called "I was heart broken, when I ran into a hungry mother and her child, so I fed them and...".

Seems that way in most single mother stories. Every guy she marries the husband becomes abusive and controlling to the point where they become evil. And, by chance, some average dude takes the role of a stepfather to the single mother's child at the end.

Personally both are important, being there for your kid is very important but you need a job in order to continue to support your child too. I never had to deal with a single parent situation myself but it's got to be hard to be a single parent and taking care of a child and wondering if you are doing the right thing with both work and taking care of them.

Certain disaster awaits. If, after years have passed, she still gets worked-up when she thinks of how her ex cheated on her, she is not ready to have a healthy relationship. The opposite of love is not hate, it is indifference. When she is reminded of her ex and has that "oh well, it just didn't work" feeling instead of getting angry, she might be ready.

You know, I'm really getting really bored with the single mom stories. I used to not have problems with it but...after this genre that occured every plot just started to become more predictable. It uses the same exact equation; • MC falls for girl that ends up getting married & becomes a single mom • Single mom gets divorced giving the MC a chance • Single mom's ex hubby is abusive a reason for the divorce ( its either that or previos hubby died) • MC being very nice and Single mom falls for him • MC goes to her home and meets kid and becomes close • And of course they end up together The only different about this story is the kid is a boy this time and not a daughter 😂. Can there be like a twist or something to spice things up to make the story interesting and not very predictable? Maybe I shoulf play bingo with this genre and give myself a prize I could win something 🤔

Your Adam West voice is pretty good. The story for me was a fail. The martyrdom is too much. "I will spend the rest of my life tiptoeing around this womans emotional damage, which will do nothing to engender mutual love and respect. " It feels like he lost for winning in a way.

She "felt" for the nice guy when she saw how convinient is being with such guy and when she understood that as a single mother she has limited option. I don't believe such people can have a long, stable relation. Sooner or later she'll become what we call an Alpha Widow.

the heck? she had a previous lover yeah. but did she do anything wrong towards our dude? is being already in a relationship a sin? that's just a matter of circumstance. not a choice that they would have even been aware of. like think about it. 1. she was already engaged before they met. should she then have switched to him? no that would make her unfaithful. and would imply other issues. 2. first choice? there was no choice to begin with she was already engaged even before they got to know each other. 3. is she worth his love? that's up to dude themselves. either can be valid because that's entirely a personal question to answer. but worth can both be rationally and irrationally decided. 3. helper and provider? did she avidly push to have him be a helper and provider? no rather she herself wanted to work as shown in 7:50 where she herself states that she has a responsibility as one of the coordinators so she has to work. it was only when our dude who on their own decision and action made her aware of the higher importance of her own child that she accepted his help. so its showcased that she is atleast honest to a fault. probably how her Ex pulled the wool over her. 4. and lets flip it, if a boy was tricked by someone who had fake kindness like what happened with this girl and her Ex. by the logic you espoused then i guess the boy also doesn't deserve a happy love life all in all the implication is essentially saying that "the girl does not deserve a happy love life because they did not meet the dude first" sounds rather selfish in my opinion. funny how that is rather reminiscent of a dilemma on salvation "if a person never got to hear the gospel would they go to hell?" sounds rather unreasonable in my opinion but i digress. to summarize, she was already engaged, there was no choice, the dude decides if he loves her, and no the dude themself had to convinced her to accept his help. that is all. this response was brought to you by ADHD, coffee, and sleep deprivation (i should get back to work)
